Hey friends! I hope you enjoy todays video 🤍
Love the vase!
Thank you! 😊
I LOVE the stools! ❤
Thank you so much 🤍
I love that you have two channels now! These type of videos are definitely my favorite but I do enjoy a good motivational cleaning vid every now and then.
I’m really excited about it! I’m glad you are too!!
What's the other channel? I had no idea!
@@rosiehelminiak2947I have a cleaning/decluttering channel 😊 @whitneypea is the channel!
Love love love those fridge magnets!
Thank you so much! I think they are soo cute!
Love them all. Very creative.
Thanks so much! 😊
Love it! Everything looks so beautiful! Definitely looking forward to the inspiration that Spring brings
Thank you so much 🤍
Gorgeous stools! I love oak. Such a good find.
They really are stunning! I can’t believe I found them!
Girl.. you absolutely could have added tons of texture to that vase with various mediums. Personally, my favorite is Saltwash 😁
I’ll have to look that up next time!
Everything came out great! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for watching!
Hey Friend, Happy Friday. I’m enjoying all of your diy projects being on its own separate channel so they’re easier to find. ❤ I look forward to seeing more of these diy projects thank you for sharing. ❤🥰
Thank you so much friend! I appreciate you being here! 🤍
The vase turned out perfect!! You did a great job!!
Thank you!! I’m so happy with it 😊
Love those frames
Thank you! I love how they came out 😊
Great ideas! Love them!
Thank you so much!
I am so obsessed with the vase!!! I have a vase currently I’m not using that could use an upscale 🤭 love you!
Do it do it do it!! It was sooo easy! Love YOU! 🤍
Loved the frames ❤
Thank you! 🤍
Loved it!
Thank you!!
The stools look beautiful. Great job!
I have that same vase only smaller and I’m tired of the look myself. So you have inspired me to repaint mine. I’m a vase nut. I can’t help myself to pass up a beautiful vase! Yours looks great!
I’m also a vase nut! I just can’t help it, I love a good vase 🥰 thank you so much!
Beautiful
Thank you!
I love your barstools! That did look like alot of work but it turned out so good!!
Thanks girl!! Yea it was definitely tedious but worth it in the end 🥰
Great ideas
Thank you! 😊
I like your dupe pot more than the original one! It came out so pretty! So did the stool and the fridge magnets! ❤
Aww thank you so much!! I’m so happy with how it turned out 🤍
I'm loving your new channel. :)
I’m so glad! I’m really excited about it 🥰
Hi, Whitney !!!! 😀👋 I really love this, I love this channel !!!!!
Thank you so much!! I’m super excited about it 🤩
Love everything, if you want texture on the pot do joint compound or drydex. I have even used air dry clay 😅
I really wanna try a joint compound one next I think 😍
@@HomeByWhit so easy and so fun! I just buy a small tub off Amazon I live so far out from town I’m fully off grid 😅
@@elisewood a dream lol! I’d love that!
Oh that's possible. I've just recently suffered nerve damage to my right ear and still getting used to hearing loss.
You could add more texture to that vase mixing baking soda with your paint or covering your vase with a thin layer of joint compound before painting.
Yes I’ve heard of that method! I’ll have to remember that for next time 😊
@@HomeByWhit yours looks great!!! I watch lots of these videos and have now done a few - the joint compound is fun to work with!
@@MmeO I’ll have to try that sometime!
Hello, new to your channel, I really like your style of decoration, I opened a channel because I tell you, I love decoration, I hope you have a blessed day.
Thank you so much! 🤍
Awesome job. Where did u get the greenery stems for ur vases?
Thank you! They are from afloral! rstyle.me/+PZiQ-rhMrMaGv456oXEv8w
Hello.. new to your channel. What color do you use with the rubbing buff? Also, can you please share where you got the brown paint? That’s the exact color I want to give the vase to my lamp. Tyfs
For the rubbing buff I love using the color “antique gold” and the brown paint I got from Michael’s! It’s the FolkArt brand in the color coffee bean (matte finish), you might be able to find it on amazon as well! 🤍
🙏❤
You could’ve put some baking soda in with the paint to get the texture from the one you like
Yes that’s a great idea! The pot had so much texture already so I was fine with it ☺️
Hey Whit! This Mcgee&Co vase is on my first sale I see, it’s mine list… lol. The last sale they only had the smaller version. Ok it’s 14 inches tall. I have that exact HL pot in the smaller version. My question is, how tan is the larger version? I’m trying to decide if I’d be happy with the size or if I’d buy the HL one, diy it, then still order the Mcgee&Co one too.. lol! This is my past MO. Loved the video btw, I’ve been on the lookout for a still and have them frames in my cart.. lol
The taller vase is 10.5 inches! I’ve had the mcgee&co vase in my cart foreverrrr but I don’t have the urge to buy it now that I’ve DIYed my own! I will report back if I decide to buy it though 😂 it is a beauty but I’m very happy with how my diy turned out!
@@HomeByWhit thx so much girl! I will get that one then and try try first! What color brown paint did you use?
@@trinapemberton yes absolutely!! I definitely think it’s worth it, and I used the FolkArt matte paint in coffee bean for the base color! And then I speckled on the FolkArt terracotta in dusty trail & the FolkArt terracotta in obsidian. I got them all from Michael’s but I’m pretty sure you can order them on Amazon too 😊
Where is the greenery from that you put in the brown vase on your coffee table?
It’s from afloral! Here’s the link: rstyle.me/+PZiQ-rhMrMaGv456oXEv8w
@@HomeByWhit thank you so much!
Don't use the Easy Off in the direct sun. It drys out too quick and doesn't do the job of eating the finish off.
I’ll have to remember that for next time!
If your stripping things with hi gloss it will take several times ❤👍
Makes total sense!
I’d have liked to see the stools bleached.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen that technique! I’ll have to try it on the other barstool 😊
I have same pot and do not like it. You inspired me to paint it.
Awesome! I hope you love how it turns out!

🤍🤍
Why is everyone using easy off? Just use paint stripper. It works better and you can get eco-friendly versions that are better for you and the environment. Like the final look, but save yourself time and your health, use paint stripper.
I just wanted to try something different since stripper can be really messy!
You keep using "stuccoing" as a verb to describe your successful painting technique. I think the word you want is actually "stippling." Good luck with your DIYs!
Thank you! Although I will say, I never said stuccoing in the video while painting, I was saying “speckling” like a speckle. If that makes sense ☺️
I think you're actually hearing the word "speckling" but misunderstanding 😂
That's very possible. Just recently suffered nerve damage to one ear, so still getting used to hearing loss.
@@evelynhowell3801 I’m so sorry to hear that 🤍
Stop with the music. Turning you off
There isn’t even much music in the video
You surely know that literally EVERY channel plays music, right? Who the heck doesn't like music 🤣
Loool, chill out
