The Interactional Model of Communication

In the second of a three-part series on fundamental communication models, this video explains the "interactional model" developed by Wilbur Schramm. An evolved version of the transmission model, the interactional model highlights the importance of the audience's role in communication as a participant, as well as the role of context in a communicative act.

You should be able to get an answer if you read the 5 axioms of communication (watzlawick). The first and the fourth should answer your question.
