Many thanks, been searching for "how do you monitor the success of a project?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Peyictorier Imaginative Preeminence - (just google it ) ? It is a great one of a kind product for getting useful project management and business templates minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my co-worker got amazing results with it.
Hello Ms. Taylor Stickle, I find this video very helpful as a learning material. May I ask permission if I can use the link leading to this video for the Oral Communication Module that I am presently working on. It is intended for Grade 11 students. Thank you so much, hope to hear from you =)
Here's only one video!! why don't you create more videos cuz you are amazing and I understand every of your word clearly !!! I'm waiting for more of your videos
Hello Ron, Great question! It depends on the online class: if the class consists of only pre-recorded lectures and you never meet with your teachers via Zoom, FaceTime, 8x8, Google Hangouts, etc. then that class reflects the Linear Model of Communication, as the information is only flowing in one direction with no real-time feedback from the audience (students). If your class does meet synchronously (via some teleconferencing application), and is lecture-based, this is more like the Interactive Model of Communication. 1 person (the teacher) is still very much in control of the flow of conversation and information, but they are receiving feedback from the class via facial expressions or potentially comments in a chatbox. Now, if the class is discussion-based, this would be the Transactional Model, as multiple people take turns being the source and receiver, and also receive feedback from their classmates' reactions to their messages. I hope this answers your question!
Hello Deign, great question! The Linear Model is the most basic model of communication and essentially outlines a one-way conversation where one person, our source, has the power in determining what the conversation is about. The transactional model, the most complete model of communication gives equal power to all individuals in the conversation and explains that no one is stuck in the role of source or receiver, but that they take turns each being source and receiver. Essentially, the Linear Model is a skeletal version of the Transactional Model.
This is a great help and I find the presentation so appropriate and could really catch the attention of the listener. If you don't mind me asking what application did you used to make this. thanks and regards!
I would say a job interview is probably somewhere between the Interactive Model and the Transactional Model, and it depends on the Interview. Some interviews are much more conversational, in which case it would be considered the Transactional model, others that are the more traditional Q&A approach would be closer to the Interactive Model.
Hello Joslyn, That's a wonderful question! When it comes to marketing and sales, you would see the linear model in things such as advertisements. Anything that is pre-recorded or displayed as an image, where there's no active interaction between the organization and potential customers would be considered part of the linear model of communication. I hope this helps :)
Hello Jiwane the Human, A debate better fits into the Transactional Model of Communication, as the individuals take turns being both sender and receiver. Wonderful question!
