The Arrow box set is very nice, but right now I just have the SF 4ks. In the set, the first movie is blu ray only and I fear that what might happen is now with the remake coming to 4k, they might release another box set and include the remake and possibly be able to get the first on 4k. I'd rather wait and see what the future holds.
I think it, of course, has to do with how much of a fan of the movie you are. If you really love the movie, then this is a nicer version to have. If you're just a casual fan and it's not a movie you watch very often, probably best to stay with the SF version. The picture and sound quality is pretty much the same. It is sleeker looking and more convenient to have everything on one disc. Me, personally, I much prefer this edition.
@@terrortats129 I’m a huge De Palma fan & also a big Arrow box set fan, but I try to avoid double dipping. Thanks for the info on the specs. It is a gorgeous edition. I think I’ll hold off for now. I’m currently really excited for Arrow’s release of Invasion of the Body Snatchers & Dark Water.
