    St. Teresa of Avila (1515-1582), the great Spanish Carmelite nun, mystic, and Doctor of the Church, most famous for her classic spiritual writings, The Interior Castle and The Way of Perfection, also wrote this famous poem, Nada Te Turbe.
    Nada te turbe, nada te espante;
    quien a Dios tiene, nada le falta.
    Nada te turbe, nada te espante:
    sólo Dios basta.
    Let nothing disturb you,
    nothing frighten you,
    All things are passing.
    God never changes.
    Patience obtains all things.
    Whoever has God lacks nothing.
    God is enough.
