- Short updated on some new plants I have gotten for the aquarium and some re-scaping I have done. Some ideas for your scape and lesson in don't be afraid to try new plants and experiment with plants and see what works for you.

thecid990 I would love to do some more and will again one day. Unfortunately, I am living in an apt right now which doesn't allow them and I also don't have the room for it. So it is in storage until I get a new house. Subscribe and when I start to set it up again I will do more videos on the whole set up and start up process. Thanks for watching!

Thanks! Have have kept aquariums mostly reef and freshwater fish only tanks for 25 yrs. This is my first real attempt at a planted tank and pleased with the progress.

Where did you go? This had potential to be a great channel.
Unfortunately I had to move from my house and into an apartment. They don't allow aquariums nor do I have have room for one. Good news is I have all my tanks equipment and then some. I hope to be in a new house hopefully this summer and if so then this channel will be buzzing with new content as I bring everyone along on the journey of getting them set up from scratch.

Why don't you add some annotations for people to look up plants as you mention them.
MadCadSkills that's what Google is for. The best way to learn the plants is to research them as I did through hearing the names through videos like this. :)
That is a good idea though nevertheless.

this tank must have failed, the plants you used are high demanding plants and i see no equipment on your tank, and more over you're using areation for this tank with all those plants in there :-/
The tank did not fail, it in fact did very well and flourished. You see no equipment as that was by design to hide as much of it as possible to highlight as much of the scape and so you didn't see the equipment. Trust me, it was a very high tech tank. Yes the aeration was used at night AFTER the photo cycle to balance out the O2 and C02 that is injected into the tank during the day. I am assuming you have not seen the video on the tank tour. I encourage you to watch it as it shows all the equipment being used and the goal behind the tank and how it started.
