I'm always suspicious of lists that are all suburbs of the same few metros but not amazing unique communities like Wilmington, Asheville, and Boone. It's a good video. It's just that there are more things that define a great place to live than household income, median home prices, etc.
Love these videos. We all appreciate good quality info like this. Lived in Garner for 3 years, and now been in Morrisville for the last 3+ years. Probably will settle in Apex/Morrisville area East of the 55 Hwy. It has been the most amazing experience living in NC these last several years. Keep up the great work.
When I was in high school I moved from Pennsylvania down to Brunswick County Oak Island Southport area. When I graduated I lived in Wilmington North Carolina specifically the downtown area and lived in two really nice apartments while in college. I’ve actually worked downtown Wilmington waitressing and bartending for many many years. I ended up moving out to California for a little while and lived in Las Vegas when I was younger and married. I eventually relocated to Wilmington lived there for nine years got tired of all the traffic and the tourist moving in, and I eventually bought a house in Jacksonville North Carolina where I reside now. It’s a great small town for children everything is close even though it’s a military town I’m 10 minutes from the grocery store 10 minutes from my job close to all the beaches within a 30 minute drive close to Wilmington where all my old friends live and where my parents live in Brunswick County. It’s also very very cheap to live here. I bought my house prior to hurricane Florence for $102,000. Taxes outside city limits is under $800 a year. My house is completely paid off three bedrooms two baths house has a fenced in yard with a garage very modest and my children can ride the school bus and come right off the bus in a very safe neighborhood off of a cul-de-sac. It’s a great little town to raise children everything is close for young families.
Wow! What an informative video. Lots of work on data. Just what most people need when making a move. A+ on this video. Also Chris, you nice on the eyes.😊
We moved from NY a year ago to Clayton MC, super cute , SUPER crowded, I’d def recommend not moving to Johnston county unless you like traffic & constant construction. If you want quiet go east.
these are suburbs of larger towns which require higher incomes. Frankly I'd prefer to hear about 10 best cities that can stand on their own. Clemmons is a suburb or Winston and mostly has golfing communities. How about something for the average person?
I’ve heard Asheville is beautiful, however, I have been reading about increase in homelessness in town along with it being very expensive (the two very things I am trying to escape living outside of the Seattle area) therefore I’ve taken it off my list of options.
To me it would be better and cheaper to live in Harnett or Lee County and also that would give you an option to work in either the Triangle or Fort Bragg/ Fayetteville areas.
I'm currently living in OHO, I plan to transition to Greensboro NC, I have no young kids, my son and his wife moved to Charlotte a few yrs ago. Just need some help on living area. Ty
What about Mooresville NC Lake norman, nascar, still affordable with waterfront options great golf. Better schools. You seem very bias toward the triangle. You had Davidson which is most unaffordable place on lake norman 🤔.
@@LivinginRaleighTV maybe people that have already bought a house before all this madness… Today, starting a life over there seems almost impossible. I’ll be very happy to be proven otherwise since I’d love to live there.
Spoken like someone who lives and works in and around Raleigh/Durham! Obviously, you've not moved out of your comfort zone and seen more of NC than just the suburbs of major cities. The one place that is truly loved by those who visit and those lucky enough to live there is Whispering Pines.
Hi Chris, Do you know if the houses in 5401 north single family homes have appreciation value down the road. I am looking for a primary home but I am considering taking a single family for investment.
No one ever said Chapel Hill is part of Durham county in this video. Chapel Hill is part of the Chapel Hill-Durham metro area. Two completely different things.
Reidsville is reasonable priced and still small town. It is growing and home prices and taxes are low! I lived in Burlington 12 years but moved back to Reidsville. Originally from New Bern! That's expensive!

I Agree!!! Winston Salem And Boone should have been on that list!!! I Love Wilmington, NC, too.
Yeah, I didn’t even know you could count suburbs as cities. Idk if I’d personally count any of the places on this list as cities.
Great point
I’m from Western North Carolina and you couldn’t pay me to live in Asheville.

You know this is written on a bias level by an agent right. You base it on this, your in trouble.

Clayton NC
You are the reason why there is traffic - go back to NY
@@carlycruise Nice southern hospitality.

Loving the south, Lived there for 2 years. Moved from Vermont!
Well done video. Crazy
🤯 Carrboro median home price 440k+ median household income 60k
Yep! It's gotten crazy. Thank you

This is based on the top rankings of cities and suburbs from niche.com
Try Eden, for the regular person.
Very informative! Thank-you!!!
Tell me about "SNAKES"! i hear you have a lot there!!! 😮😮😮
is this suppose to be the best cities in north carolina for real estate agents?
No. As stated in the video, this ranking is based on Niche.com
Charlottes where it’s at
Charlotte is great
If you like high humidity and extreme heat in the summer you will love NC.
Yep! But it's not all year
That’s perfect for growing your own supply.
Come to Texas and you will see real heat
Another great video.😀
Thanks again!
How do you feel about the Wilmington area?
Wilmington is a great city! So beautiful and close to the beach
VERY crowded
Do you like tourists and hurricanes?
LOT'S of herion
No Ashville? Outerbanks?
Nope. Not according to Niche.com. Surprised none of the coastal cities are on the list. We'll cover them in another video

How much the apartment for 2 bedrooms in those cities

Living in Cary with 100k house income? That's BS, c''mon...
Renting a decent townhouse for less than 2k is a challenge over there.
Plenty of people are living in the Cary area on 100K household incomes

Would have thought a coastal city or two would have made list
Yes, not sure why. The coast has some amazing cities
Poor schools on the coast. And high poverty
Hi Chris,
Do you know if the houses in 5401 north single family homes have appreciation value down the road. I am looking for a primary home but I am considering taking a single family for investment.
5401 is a great area since it's a straight shot into Raleigh. Please email us, happy to help. hello@mortonbradbury.com
Everybody has an opinion.. personally you couldn't pay me to live around Raleigh.
Sure
How come?
I’m happy that my city is not on the list :) I was like, please don’t say …., lol
Haha!
We’re I was born yeah North Carolina
Just an opinion!
Sure
Winston Salem is considered statistically one of the top 10 crime ridden places in NC. No thanks.
I'm so happy you didn't mention my City, lol.
Haha
10 worst
Fayetteville #1
Lumbeton neck and neck with Fayetteville
Interesting
Neck and neck as #1 good or bad?
By no means are these the 10 best cities in NC. I know that you were trying to highlight Raleigh but please...
You skipped over the part early on in this video where it was made clear that this list is based on the niche.com ranking, not our opinion
Funny you keep calling Chapel Hill part of the Durham county when it's own county called Orange as I live in this county..

New bern nc is better than all 1 😅0
Nothing for nothing, you haven't lived in N.C. all your life,YET!,lol,Godbless.
Those top 10 are ridiculous. Over priced for real estate. Not for the normal person.
