In flowers plantation now. Raised military base east of Raleigh. Went to Peace and UNC chapel hill , RN. Lived north Raleigh by Crabtree, apex, holly springs, wake forest, garner, that big Heritage neighborhood on golf course, lived in carboro when at UNC in college. We are getting out of here. Was looking Jordan lake area. Chatham and Moore counties, want land, farm, hard to get that here. Johnston county used to be lots cheaper but, lol, just another suburb of Raleigh
Love your channel and I've been watching your content for some years and it was extremely informative when I moved from the south Jersey area down here.. My question is what about Roxboro? it's also around 55 min from Raleigh like some of the other towns mentioned.. what's your take on Roxboro NC?
It's pretty far out. Not really considered part of the Triangle due to being so far North. A lot of people move there to be on or near the lake, but unfortunately we don't know too much about it
As a Boston transplant living in North Durham, I go up to Roxboro sometimes.. its a bit beat up, but great house prices and some good areas. Long stretch down 501 just to get anywhere. If you want rural, Rougemont and Timberlake are amazing
What is your take on Bunn and Lake Royale living? And people who want small living such as a cottage or tiny home. Or allowing temp trailer/camper life while small or tiny home is being built or bought? Also curious about some that didn’t make the map. Royal, Riley, Pearces? Is it just wilderness? Lol. Independent land or lots with flex zoning (for the small extremely affordable dream), basic utilities, not larger average size Sq footage and not in cookie cutter subdivisions.
I can afford a house at 350k or less, can I get one in any city in raleigh metro in condition of the city should not far away from raleigh more than 30 min driving?
As a local of 47 years, I wouldn't touch Cary. More reputation than substance at this point. Apex is great but is basically Cary light. Garner and Clayton are the sleeping giants of the area IMHO. Especially with 540 getting set to open. Although less mom and pops, Garner is basically adjacent to the downtown Raleigh area.
Where do you recommend moving to in that area? I’m a PTA so I have a pretty average income and I want to be close to the old people because that’s where the physical therapy job opportunities are.

Great video like always. Appreciate them all! Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching!
We are choosing between Rolesville and Wake Forest. This video was helpful. Thank you!
Both great options! Feel free to give us a call or text. Would love to help. 919-964-0474
Wake forest, lived there 20 years til 21….unrecognizable today, too crowded. Not recommended

What's your take on Knightdale?
In FL…. hopefully heading your way

Pushing it calling some of these places near raleigh

Glad you think so!

Rocky mount, nashville are the best bang for ur buck still within 45 minutes of raleigh without the over inflated prices

Maybe you can try nearby Knightdale, Wendell or Rolsville
Knightdale is most underrated suburbs

Garner has a ton of future growth potential since it's still fairly rural despite being the same distance to DT Raleigh as North Hills
@@LivinginRaleighTV and much more convenient to 40 than coming from six forks or falls of the neuse on the belt line.
I'm in Clayton. Advice would be to move to Cary if you like to have actual good restaurants and retail. Clayton is abysmal.
Shhh... please leave Garner, Fuquay, and Clayton alone! Proceed to Cary and Apex.
Where do you recommend moving to in that area? I’m a PTA so I have a pretty average income and I want to be close to the old people because that’s where the physical therapy job opportunities are.
what happen to Knightdale? Okay it's listed under Wendell. No love for my town 😀
What do you mean?
Knightdale is most underrated, since inventory is low they are not promoting it.
He mentioned knightdale. Watch the video!
Is Roseville supposed to be Rolesville n Hillsboro supposed to be Hillsborough😮
You completely skipped over Fuquay Varina and went with Lillington?
There is an entire section about Fuquay Varina in this video
@@LivinginRaleighTV lmao that’s what I get for scrubbing the chapters lol
Ppl clearly don't pay attention
Knightdale is most underrated city, inventory is low but its the best
Convenient Parking in either Chapel Hill/Carrborro is non-existent
How does crime affect those areas?
Cary = Containment Area for Relocated Yankees.
😂
North Carolina is full. Go somewhere else!
Seriously! I wish ppl would stop coming here, driving up our prices. I wish ppl would consider other states like texas or the west coast! Geeez!!
