I bought the game in February 1999, and it was a very enjoyable and fun game that was worth more than the price I paid. 😄😁😂
I remember extracting and listening to various music from the folder where the music tracks and sound effects were organized separately,
and using the Windows OS sound effects as replacements among the sound effects...😉😊
I couldn't help but love Sega... 💕💕

Thank you!!! I absolutely loved playing this game and play the hell out of it on my Saturn. I have seen so many people review and play this game on RUclips and they all stink at it. Except for you you are awesome at this and the Toyota Supra is crazy hard to drive. thank you for showing us a how sega touring car can actually be freaking awesome!!
Saturn version was an abomination of a conversion. Shocking
SEGA really shat the bed with Dayona'nt to be honest. I don't even hate the controls, they just don't work with the speed they were trying to pull off and the maps that don't accommodate for both of these things at once.

Did you heard the loud sound of Supra at third stage while turning?
It's a bug with the emulator. It will sometimes makes certain sound effects play a lot louder between stage to stage.
I need to find this emulator...
I miss this game.
I have the pc disc but it doesn't work simply because that's not how CDs run anymore in computers. ( the CD needs a direct analog speaker out to play)
As in I have the game which is kind of like a Sega Saturn port for the PC but I don't have the soundtrack.

Yours don't work? Mine work fine on Windows 10, been playing SEGA Rally Championship 95 on PC CD no problem lately, that and Colin McRae Rally.
@@BlueEyedVibeChecker to be more clear, the game plays but I don't get the soundtrack. And I feel like the sound track is most of the games experience.
Now I was doing this on windows 7 and xp on a virtual machine, haven't tried it yet on windows 10 or 11.
But if that gives me the full experience that would be great.
Would you recommend playing this game 🎮 🕹 either the saturn or arcade version ?
I know some people dislike the saturn version because of the controls
The default controls on Arcade version were just as bad and twitchy but at least you can calibrate controls in test mode.
What emulator do you use for that? It looks sweet!
Model 2 Emulator by ElSemi
Model 2 is 100% best way to experience STCC. Unfortunately the PC and Saturn ports were very poor quality visuals. On Model 2… its exactly as it was intended. Scud Race… another corker!
Anyone thinks that the speedometer lies? It doesn't feel like 300 kmh, more like 200-220.
Does this handle better than the Saturn version?

this is actually based on the 1996 version: the cars are all from the 1996 DTM season (apart from supra which is from the 1996 JGTC)
Good game. But it's very hard though. The controls are quite stiff.
