I’m 73 years old and I was having so much anxiety and rampant thoughts I just didn’t know what to do I’m glad I found this one when I was searching for Self-care I thought maybe if I took care of myself better, I wouldn’t have all this anxiety and mind thoughts that wouldn’t stop so thank you very much. This is day two.
Amazing discovery !Tried this meditation for the 1st time yesterday and nervousness in my stomach instantly went away and I slept well last night. Just completed 1st meditation for today and will do another in the evening. Thank you!
This meditation is the reason I feel, for the first time in a while, that I truly understand how it can calm your mind. I like that you give us direction and let us do the rest instead of constant guidance. I’ll be doing this every night. Thank you
I’ve been doing this meditation everyday, sometimes twice, for the past 2 weeks. Initially I had to force myself to do it, now I look forward to starting my day with this wonderful, calming practice. This meditation is helping me through a tough time, and I feel stronger and better able to cope with a quiet mind. Thank you Chris Sol. 👍🏾
I felt some kinda heaviness in lower parts of body but clearer and lighter in my head. After the course i noticed my thoughts weren't in every corner of my brain, they were straight and not feeling pushed like that they must to do something in a hurry and right now. I actually enjoyed it. Usually I am not patient enough for meditations but I've came to the end at this one.
Anxiaty fear stress can not easily go away from human becouse we are attached by things like somethings we want or dont want, when you are total free person and sitting allone home and doing nothing you will still have anxiaty thoughts out of nothing.. Person will have relax thoughts when Person is not attracted attached to somethings or to someone and have free feelings like sitting in the beach then its no fear no anxiaty in the person mind.. Thats why we are always stressed and fear its becouse we are not free from something we want or dont want..
I just did this meditation for the first time. I am new to meditation and this video has really helped clear my mind. I am a huge over thinker. I will complete this session again and again. Thank you! .
Day 2 of this meditation, and I think I can feel the benefits already. Certainly in the immediate hour or so after doing it. I have a bit of a road to travel but I do think this daily practice will help, and with determination, will become a permanent feature of my life. Thank you 🙏🏼

I have been listening to your stress and anxiety ones from the app during my lunch break outside in nature at work, and i have felt some pretty profound feelings come over me, especially towards the end. I have even noticed some subtle shadow like textured visions happening with my eyes closed at some points when doing this occasionally, which is really interesting. I find i dont get the proper benefit when i do it before bed as it just makes me start to go to sleep, it is so much better doing it in the day time. However, despite this, it is also great to help with winding down before bed to.
This is really simplified the process, rather than visualizing thoughts as clouds that float away, and visualizing breath as a candle or tree. No need to visualise, just imagine a sound. It was still challenging for me on the first go, I have been a chronic overthinker with health anxiety, I had to refocus on the sound hundreds of times, but there was this one moment where I felt a lightness. I went from a 8 down to a 6-7 in relative stress level. Going to keep practicing this every chance I get. Thank you for this.

I noticed that the first three days of doing this meditation I was more focused and less distracted but I’ve noticed that as the days pass the thinking has come back and I am becoming distracted it’s not a lot but definitely some distractions. Anyway I’ve decided that I will continue meditating and hope that the thinking and distractions will lessen with time. After all meditating is a practice.

The first time I found my body became intensely restless, to the point I had to stop at 13 minutes. For 8-10 minutes though, I felt immensely steady, quiet and whole, like the silence was in and around me as I repeated "so hum". I'll definitely be giving this another go curious to see if my body settles longer next time ☮
I have a terrible anxiety which just started again after long time. It comes in the form of an intense dizziness especially when I go outside and I always feel I'm nor supposed to be here, I want to be somewhere else.
I don't know whether I am to breathe through my nose or mouth. Please let me know. Thank you. I've tried this meditation both ways and it has been so helpful, but ni would like to know which way you intended it to be. Thank you

But what I find is about 20 minutes into this, when the mind does wander the thoughts seem to be more positive. Does anyone else find that at all?

I breathe through nose, because if i inhale through nose and exhale through mouth i can not focused od mantra. Only on the beggining when you focuse on breathing for relaxing, then a do nose in, mouth out...hope it helps.

The book "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels takes a great approach. I recommend it to all.

I find that if I say the mantra in my head in English (I am, breathe in, that, breathe out) it is much easier to do this meditation.

It started helping towards the end. I just really had a hard time keeping attention on my breathing. The bell thing just didn't work for me.
