Thanks sa video👍❤️ pareho kayo ng anak ko na nasa New Brunswick Canada na nakakuha ng property after lock down dulot pandemic covid 19 napakamura nyang nakuha ang rent nila dati sa two bedroom house ay 750 cad ang hulog nila sa 3 bedroom house nila ngayon ay 950 cad with 2,000 sg m lot area with basement . Two years silang nagrent at 4 years na sila sa bahay na inuhulugan nila ngayob. Thanks God🙏 nakakuha sila agad ng bahay hindi masayang pera nila sa rent katulad nyo😇

RRSP equivalent ng 401K dito sa min. Bottom line save save at huwag pala gastos gamit ang cash or credit card. Kung ang hirap ng maka ahon.

for first time homebuyer po dapat may 5% downpayment kayo, so depende sa i-aaprove sa inyo ng bangko, dapat may 5% kayo of that amount for downpayment.

Kuya - a few comments from experience:
- the main reason for choosing term VS whole life when you are young is because you need more coverage because if you die the money has to last for a much longer periodof time
- any money withdrawn from an RRSP to be used to buy your first home needs to be paid back into the RRSP otherwise it will be taxed believe you have 10 years to repay it. Also if you are earning less than about $80,000 you're better off with a TFSA because you are already in a low tax bracket. The idea behind an RRSP is to defer tax while you are in a high tax bracket and take the money when you retire thus are in a lower tax bracket. But if you are in a low tax bracket to begin with there is no benefit.
- if your tax return is simple - salary & wages some interest and dividend income there is no need for an accountant. Buy tax preparation software for $40. They are so sophisticated now it asks you the same questions a reputable accountant would ask guides you step by step. The RRSP optimizer is built in. It also guides you as to who should claim the deduction ex. charitable donations claim for dependents in order to minimize taxes. If you have income from rentals commissions or complies investments then an accountant is worth the money.
