lol These are SNES-like graphics, come on. Of course we had this stuff back then. 2.5D ain't complicated, especially given all of this is pre-rendered. LOVED playing this back then and love that it still holds up today.
Same here. I played it as a kid and never could remember the name. Just found it and I'm quite happy. Would be amazing if GOG got this. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Best polish game! Janusz Pelc was a genius! Also sound designer David Whittaker, wow, amazing job on this game. This was a milestone in gaming, but so underrated.
Random fact I noticed about the intro between shareware and full version of this game while I was recording gameplay for my "music video". Shareware version intro first thing it says is "Epic MegaGames" and on full version of the game it's "Electronic Arts". I was really confused by this cuz my remix has the shareware intro and I downloaded the full version and watched this and both had the "Electronic Arts" one. :P
who can tell me how to get the full version! I totally want to have it ! only had the shareware when i was a child.. where can i buy / download the full version?? google doesnt help me :-((
I'm on the same boat. Been looking for a full version for years now. I don't think there ever actually was one. Hope I'm wrong, but that's the conclusion I've come to.
This was a cool game back in the day but copies of it have really seemed to dry up. I can't find a physical version these days. Would love to give it a try again on my retro PC builds.
@TheRetroMantic Why do you used keyboard only? The best part about this game was the combined keyboard+mouse control. Keyboard for ship control, mouse for completely independent turret aiming. Firing the weapons 100% precise on a target while moving the ship around it made so much fun.
Larn Regis It was some time ago... I did this short gameplay for only to show others the existence of this game. And as you say keyboard + mouse is the best.
I remember playing the demo version of this game when I was just a kid, my dad had this CD-ROM with something about 15 or 20 game demos including this one, a bike racing game, and many puzzle games. Wish I could find a full version of this one.
Great stuff! Extremely nostalgic. I imagine a modern remake of this game would perform well with the recent rise of easy/quick to play indie-game genre.
I download this game from old game ru (iso file) when i press on .exe game cant start on window 7, how i can make it work ? rly want to play this game , i play it like a demo when i was 4-5 year old on my pentium I ,want to play it again :( plz help
I played this back in 1996 on a pentium 1 machine too. I was using Windows 95 back then, this was one of the first ever games to use Microsoft DirectX and it came out around the same time as Diablo I. Anyways, try running the .exe in compatability mode for windows 95/98. That might work. Failing that you could use Dosbox. Install windows 95 inside Dosbox. Long way to do it but would probably work fine. And you could request it on good old games.
there's some emulators for windows 95/98 era systems nowadays. You can even have Glide emulation and what not. PCem and 86box are two programs that say they can do this but I havent tried them myself, but they might sovle this problem
Mikail Zavalet There is a full version. It has all the 18 levels available. I got mine years ago as a green pepper version. www.greenpepper.de/ Not sure if they still sell it and if it's available in germany only.
Andrey Polonsky Oi. Could you please help me out? Been trying to get this game as a small present for my father but haven't gotten any luck finding it anywhere. I'd truly appretiate if you could lend a hand.
+Armando Ojeda It runs on windows 7, just right click the launcher and in properties set the execution mode for win95. I can share it, how do you want me to do it? message me your email and I could give you link to my google drive.
Dear God!! I have been trying to recall what the hell this game was, name, when it came out, etc for the better part of a year. Thank you for finally getting the info to me, www.legendsworld.net/shooter/year/1996#1232
Electronic Arts... Epic Megagames... Chaos Works... Fire Fight
Yes
I remember well that introduction.
I pulled this video up just to listen to that. Annoying that the first bit of "Electronic Arts" gets cut off.
this was a beautiful game for its time, seriously those graphics back in 1996??!?!?
lol
These are SNES-like graphics, come on. Of course we had this stuff back then. 2.5D ain't complicated, especially given all of this is pre-rendered.
LOVED playing this back then and love that it still holds up today.
@@orangejjay This is better than SNES.... there's more colors and it's higher res. This is more like Playstation at full power.
The soundtrack was so great - serious nostalgia!
YES!!! Thank you so much for posting this gameplay footage. I’ve been trying to remember the name of this game for literally over a decade.

That would be amazing! I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I played it as a kid and never could remember the name. Just found it and I'm quite happy.

Yeah! I have the same problem with the modern systems...You have one option here, installl Win 98 or 95 on your machine...:-)
I'd prefear to start it on a emulator or like...
there's some emulators for windows 95/98 era systems nowadays. You can even have Glide emulation and what not. PCem and 86box are two programs that say they can do this but I havent tried them myself, but they might sovle this problem

Hi friend! I love this game! Can u share it with me? Do u know if it can run in Win7. Thnx beforehand! :)
+Armando Ojeda It runs on windows 7, just right click the launcher and in properties set the execution mode for win95.
I can share it, how do you want me to do it? message me your email and I could give you link to my google drive.
Oh holy shit, no way. You've just changed my life.
Great Polish game, developed by EA.
+Mariusz Grubba
Developed by Chaos Works. EA were publishers.
In that case wasn't this one of the first (if not the first) polish-made game picked up by a big US publisher?
Dear God!! I have been trying to recall what the hell this game was, name, when it came out, etc for the better part of a year. Thank you for finally getting the info to me, www.legendsworld.net/shooter/year/1996#1232
