Jürgen Klinsmann is the only one with any authority there, what a surprise he's talking sense.
He gave arguably the least interesting analysis of the whole panel. Leboeuf, McManaman and Burley all had good to great careers, they all have "authority" to speak, not that being a great footballer should be a prerequisite.

I think what is often missed is that this is a tournament. It's about getting to the final. No one, and I mean no one, remembers how you got there. Anyone remember Greece lighting it up when they won? Exactly.
I remember vividly how both Portugal and Greece won a trophy playing rubbish anti-football, everyone remembers....
i'm pretty sure anybody that watched the 2004 euro cup remembers how greece won: defend all game and score a header from a cross.
The thing is Greece played to the best of their ability. Their defense and organization still made their games a good watch.
2016 Portugal Drew all three group games, made it out of the group with 3 points and somehow won every game after that playing like trash.

At the end of the day the art of defence is not to prevent chances, but to make the chances the other team gets as hard as possible and with a bit of luck you can always win.

every team plays the best style of football that suits them. Spain plays more direct and England plays more conservative. the better team is defined by result of the match. if one team plays back passes in their back half pitch for 89 mins and wins it with only one attacking action, that is how they play and should be respected. in 1982 Brazil played very entertaining football and lost to the no guts Italians. But the trophy told the whole story. I agree with DeChamps says : watch something else if u feel it is boring.

Spain are in a different class, but this semi is still worth winning. You never know in a one-off final. Germany almost took them to a penalty shootout.
But Germany was the better team in that game if u look at statistics, more shots, higher ball possession, higher expected goals etc..Germany played in the same class as Spain.
Other teams are praised (especially by us) for winning ugly, coming from behind. The hatred of England reminds me how brilliant it is to be English.

Looking at the teams that both England and the Netherlands have played so far and their results, it is irrational to come to the conclusion that England is favorite going onto this game, or that the Netherlands is not a major threat. ‘RUclips’ is definitely more objective and rational their than these pundits ;)

It is a reference to bookmakers odds, ie a statement of fact. Maybe English is your 2nd language, a lot of foreigners don't understand what favourites means. Doesn't mean they're more likely to win.

England will win (if) he makes the right changes at the right time…I want him to tell Kane that if he drops and there’s no out ball then he’s off for Watkins or Toney. Kane just scoring won’t be enough, we need to pull and stretch their defence and offer problems rather than a moment. He has to put together everything he’s learned and not leave it until we’re behind or being out played.

Number 1 mistake by Southgate ...Kane as captain ...leadership on pitch gone (Croatia semi proves my point) ...we are just up against it before a ball is kicked cos sat deep ,injured and out of form starters ...the first half will stress us out but my mental state is to expect drab again so if they do manage to attack and game manage it will be a bonus .Koeman will know everything about our gameplan too

Netherlands have pace, but fortunately we have pretty quick center halves. Let's see but the counter to that is when committing to attack you then can be countered, so the real question is, will Netherlands give up possession to play a counter attacking game? I just feel England know the Netherland players too well and for me have a much better squad. If Garath can make some smart decisions, then it will be difficult for the Netherlands - they definately need a fast start.
