    Good video. I've never seen a top end of a PanHead in detail before, so it was interesting. Especially those felt 'sanitary napkins' on top of the rockers LOL.

    Impressive the way you pay attention to the tiniest of detail. Also, the power kote was a new one on me, wasn't aware of it. Learn something every day

    I have a 63 pan bought last fall motor needs bottom redone , this spring I bought a 61 pan motor and Tran work great , watch your videos to set valves and adjust carbuator and to learn how they should run and sound , thanks . 61 starts most days within four kicks , mornings 3 primes ignition and one kick .

    What valve lash caps are you using? Is that applicable to all panheads? I want to use the same washers under the locks nuts just need to know spec or a source/brand/size? Is it a nut and washer kit?

    did I miss something, no oil drip pipes fitted to lube top of valve? were none fitted on '49 m0tor, valve stem caps fitted instead, do the extra felt mats fitted in valve cover help keep everything drenched in oil up top?.

    Question I just had my 50 pan rebuilt and he used hydraulic pushrods because its what he had around, he had ordered the wrong set and went ahead with them. What is your opinion of hydraulic push rods? should i replace them with solids? thanks so much love the videos

      @@TatroMachine thanks 🙏🏼 can you use the power kote on the inside of tha case or would you stick with just glyptol?

    • @TatroMachine
      @TatroMachine  2 года назад

      if i would put anything on the inside of the case it would be an oil dissipate coating. tech line coatings has them.

    I think when u put those pans on you had 2 dampners in each one. Then when you switched them u went 3 in one and 1 in the other cause it didnt stick to inside of pan just wondering if u knew

      i vari the number of pads depending on what i takes to make contact with the cover. it dampens the noise in the pan covers.
