My HD50 only came with one cylinder! Some come with more yes but I think companies selling them take them out to make more money ! I was disappointed when mine came with just the one .
Can you tune it up like the HDR? I tuned my HDR 50 up to 25-30 joules (ammo dep.) and I still get 12 shots per 12 g cartridge. I wish I could upload photos, but my gun will shoot steel cans or gallon water jugs through and through. My standard defensive load in that gun is an 8.3 gram ball bearing following a pepper round. Repeat.
Lucky you I’m in the U.K. 🤣 I’ve heard you can tune them up but we have to keep on the right side of the law over here ( unless your a criminal obviously) ! Anything I take to pieces stays in pieces with my technology skills so I tend to leave anything with screws nuts and bolts alone 🤣🤣👍
@@andyclare03 I am truly sorry that you live in a country that does not respect an individual's right to protect themselves. Stripping weapons from law abiding citizens only leaves the criminals and the police well armed.
the torpedo allows a wider variety of projectiles by allowing a longer cylinder - something the other manufacturers are prolly kicking themselves for right about now.
I have found that it’s not really much slower ( taking milli secondonds) to charge than a HDR 50 say, just put a capsule in , tighten the screw up quite tight but just not enough to pierce then when you need it just one slight turn and you are good to go so doesn’t need a strike pin it’s hardly any slower if you get it right 👍
I’ve got the 11 joule hdr 50 which has some pretty good penetration power so my question being is the snowpeak able to match the same velocities? I’ve looked a couple times at getting the 16 joules hdr 68 I just wish the dang thing wasn’t so massive but I’ve also been looking at the new Byrna LE in those I love the size and power output of those launchers but the price of those are insulting and it isn’t a problem here in the states of finding a real high quality pew for around the same coin but I still love to go play around with a couple of the less lethal launchers that I have in the collection I think it’s because of the bb and pellet guns I had in my youth
As yet not much as come out regarding power upgrades, holsters/ accessories etc for the snowpeak but I’m sure they will , it’s still relatively new out especially here in the U.K. . 16j over here is an extremely grey area in the law as paintball sites wouldn’t allow that much power obviously, so here 11j is going to be the max .
@@TheJelt10 Just paintball have some in I think. Do a search see what comes up . They come in a 16j model but I don’t think we can get that high power here in the U.K. 🤷♂️.
No , not enough power unless you did some upgrades to it . Also the magazines on the defender 50 have slightly bigger holes and only just manage to hold the rubber balls in place so if you try to fire paintballs or anything they will just fall through the holes !!! I even tried some Umarex T4E 50 cal paintballs that are a slightly bigger size than normal and they are still loose or fall through the magazine so are totally useless !!! As I’ve said the magazines on these guns are sadly utter garbage how they are designed.
Paintball guns are a strange grey area within the law , they are technically airguns but not all the U.K. airgun laws apply to paintball “ markers “ 😁…
Biggest problem with a is it only comes with the one cylinder for bullets you got to buy more the umarex comes with 6 or 5😅

Cool video mate 👍
👍🏻 I’ve got aHDR and a HDB. Both adjusted and should be effective as defence.

Cheers from the US, keep on plinking brother
is it possible to do dieseling in hdr50?

Yea saw them they are but here in the U.K. we can only shoot paintball or rubber balls so they won’t be popular here I’m afraid.
Is there any way of placing a co2 strike pin in the snowpeak by any chance?

I'm interested in adding a bit power to my S-Peak defender if anyone could help?
As yet there isn’t much info on modifications for this pistol as it’s so new out but I’m sure there will be loads of RUclips videos coming about it .
There is a video.... By an American guy
Can u put that in water like the byrna
Absolutely no idea sorry . Wouldn’t think so
Do these shoot 50cal bbs n all the other stuff a HDR 50 does? and how powerful is this? would it go through plywood?

Can the CO2 be charged with one hand?
Yes , I can only use one arm due to my other being totally paralysed . Obviously there are ways to do anything you just have to improvise 😁👍
Glad to of seen this as I rang pellpax last week to ask about UK regulations. Is it worth buying then

It's 7.5 joules
If I’m lucky with tropical sunshine and the wind behind the rubber ball 🤣👍
if it was in 68 i would
Look at the Umarex HDR 68 then .
.68 cal , only 5 shot though 👍
