25871 participants, consisting of 12786 men ≥50 years and 13085 women ≥55 years at enrollment.
Eligible participants, recruited throughout the US, were required to limit vitamin D use from outside sources to no more than 800 IU/day, and to forgo the use of fish oil supplements.
    4 subgroups
    1. Omega 3 Placebo/Vitamin D Placebo
    2. Omega 3 Placebo/Vitamin D Active
    3. Omega 3 Active/Vitamin D Active
    4. Omega 3 Active/Vitamin D Placebo
Vitamin D supplementation for five years, with or without omega 3 fatty acids, reduced autoimmune disease by 22%, while omega 3 fatty acid supplementation with or without vitamin D reduced the autoimmune disease rate by 15% (not statistically significant).
Here is the link to the study
This study of more than 25000 older adults in the US provides evidence that daily supplementation with 2000 IU/day vitamin D or a combination of vitamin D and omega 3 fatty acids for five years reduces autoimmune disease incidence, with more pronounced effects found after two years of supplementation.
Vitamin D receptors are found at high density on dendritic cells, T and B lymphocytes and macrophages, whose functions are dramatically affected by activated 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D binding
    Cholecalciferol (D3) 2000 IU/day---Placebo soybean oil
Marine omega 3 fatty acid 1000mg containing EPA 460, DHA 380--Placebo olive oil

Great video! I think a new study with your recommendations should definitely take place. I was diagnosed at 30 years old with hashimotos, and I suffered for 20 years before I found a medical practitioner who was willing to listen to me instead of blame me. She helped me with my diet, my hormones, my thyroid meds, and supplementing correctly. Now I am finally in remission after decades of agony. Dr. Jin, I hope you can get that new study going because I think it could help untold numbers of people. 🙏

I get tested every 4 months to monitor. Since hormones naturally fluctuate this daily dosage allows me to "read" my body. I've learned that sometimes, I need to skip the testosterone or estrogen. Chin hairs start popping up? Back off the testosterone. Breasts feel sore? Back off the Estrogen. I also supplement DIM (Diindolymethane) and Calcium D-Glucarate to detox excess hormones on the daily. It's a lot of work and a learning curve since it's necessary to pay attention and have frequent blood work to understand your body's signals to hormone fluctuations. Supplementation of even bioavailable hormones is not without risk.

The formula is 100ng minus your current range x 35x your weight- that is the bolus on the average age person to get to 100. It can be a one time dose!!! Or I spread mine over 4 days. I’m 72 at 10ng. So glad you are healthy again! As someone who got obese, ↑BP, arthritic, severely depressed and finally pre-diabetic after being Rx'd a D-depleting carbamazepine the last 25 years, a new doc finally ordered a D bloodtest that found me at a dangerously low 6ng/ml! She Rx'd standard preloading D2, then 5,000IU D3.
But my obesity needed far more! I was taking 20,000IU/day that finally got me Replete >50ng/ml or 125nmol/L!
Get a blood test, please. Perhaps seasonally twice a year. As we age, we lose the ability to make it under the best of circumstances in high Summer.
ThinElder Fauci, (as we were massively dying from Covid), quietly maintained his own Replete D level!
      6,000IU/day in Summer
      8,000IU/day in Winter
If you are heavier you'd likely need more.

Nice. Don’t forget that D3 makes proteins that must use K to carboxylate so supplement with K2 Mk-7, and D3 uses the same receptor on the nuclear membrane as retinal(retinoic acid-vitamin A)- the retinoic acid receptor, so vitamin A is also very import otherwise K can become depleted as D3 will make too many proteins in the nucleus. Balance D3 with A and add K2.

      Most doctors don't understand that.
      Yet.
Just base your dosage on what you/enlightened doctor thinks 'you' need to reach your target level.

So while all of these videos are helpful to a certain extent. Why has there been a rush of Chiropractic Doctors offering medical advice all of a sudden on this platform.. I am NOT trying to pick on you, Dr. Sung.. There's a ton of you in here(RUclips) offering free advice which has nothing or almost nothing to do with chiropractic care. Interesting to say the least...

Regular doctors are far more captured by PHARMA! Chiropractors have some of the training, but since they aren't drug prescribers, PHARMA sorta ignores them, letting them spill all sorts of health truth that gets accredited doctors' licenses cancelled in today's censorship regime!
      I'm just thankful.😘

@@eliseville Of course, I too, get that. And anything which steers away from Pharma and their lining pockets of the Governmental agencies, the better.

@@Kiss__Kiss Wouldn't it just be nice if well-trained doctors could all be free of PHARMA control? There's several brave doctors that have all had licenses or hospital privileges revoked for trying to treat their patients in ways that don't profit enough.
Dr. Meryl Nass managed to Rx her sick patient Ivm, among other treatments, but knowing how propagandized her pharmacy options were, actually lied about the condition being treated, and the board jumped on her, along with a suspension, is now ordering her to get a psychiatric evaluation, so blocking her from moving to another state! Also those FLCCC docs at the top of their fields are closed out from actually serving their patients, even forced to sit helplessly by as PHARMA's only allowed options fail and their patients die!
