Completely debatable. This viewpoint rejects Jesus’ own words, disregards sound doctrine and responsible, hermeneutic scripture studies. Without a grasp of that ancient culture’s vernacular and common idioms, you will fail to understand the very point of Jesus’ HISTORIC return. My sister and I were baptized I was 15 and she was 20, it is the greatest gift you can give our Lord. My faith has been challenged by death of my parent's 6 months apart, in 2017 I had a Quadruple bypass and was sent home with an open chest. My husband rushed me back to the hospital. I was admitted with 2 very serious bacterial infections, 2 loose bolts in my sternum. At that point I started to pray 🙏 to God for guidance and help. He helped me at the worst time in my life. I had a dream when I was 7 years old that I met Jesus. I died in a classroom and went straight to heaven and met him in the clouds. He was standing about 10 feet away from me and was clothed in a white robe with long dark hair. Suddenly we were looking down from heaven at my family and friends - it looked like we were staring at a doll house is how I’d describe it. I asked Jesus if I could go and see them and he told me “you can look but you can’t be.” I was so content with that. I didn’t feel sad or unhappy that I couldn’t talk to them, it was just a matter of fact. I think I was more happy to be with Jesus. Im glad Jesus gave me reassurance that I will be okay even after death and my loved ones feel the same. Can’t wait to see him again 🤍

Something that always gets me: people say the rapture happens at the end of the tribulation, Rev 19 when Jesus comes back. Yet at the 1st part of Rev 19 is the marriage supper of the Lamb, and the bride (believers) are dressed in fine linen, clean and white. THEN heaven is opened, Jesus returns WITH the armies of heaven who are ALSO dressed in fine linen, clean and white (again, believers). So how could it be possible that the rapture wont happen until Jesus returns, when it clearly says WE ARE WITH HIM??

What does rebellion even me? And hasn't it been going on for 2 thousand years. Apostasy in the Greek can also mean Departure. Like to be taken away. And that translation was in most of the older Bibles. Do some research and then you will understand why later in 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 the restrainer is taken away, then the Wicked one will be revealed.

consider this, a period of time between 500-1500 called dark ages. first printed bible for masses were printed late 1500s. most people were illiterate and so, ministers/pastors/vickers explained their theories on what they thought the bible actually said. all those guys who studied the bible revealed the dispensations and rapture.

Get yourself a bible. Pray to God for the spirit of discernment. Ask Him to forgive you and to fill you with His spirit... the Holy Spirit. Pray and read daily. Before you know it, you will have intamacy with God as he reveals himself to you. Nobody else needs to pray for you. Your salvation is between you and God. Accept Jesus as your savior. Turn from sin and love God. Just talk to Him in normal language, with love and respect. Ask Him yo reveal himself to you. Do this and He will lead you to love and peace and knowledge of Him. If you're wrong about the rapture, then you SHOULD be concerned about the antichrist, because he'll demand the mark on people in order to buy and sell and will also make war against God's people and conquer them. This calls for faith and endurance on the part of God's people and if you're not prepared for that, then it's quite possible that you can be part of the great falling away.

@Daniel Roman What 2Thess 2:3 says is that "that day(the Day of the Lord) will not come except/until the man of sin is revealed..." Now what is the Day of the Lord and how long it is? It encompasses the sudden destruction in 1Thess 5:2-3 and creation of new heaven and new earth in 2Pet 3:10-13. Both the coming of the Lord to take the believers(rapture) and the coming of the Day of the Lord are a thief in the night events(Matt 24:43-44; 1Thess 5:2, 2Pet 3:10. So to me, the rapture happens simultaneously with the start of the Day of the Lord. You might say now, it's mid-trib/post-trib rapture then because the man of sin has to be revealed first. Not so fast, the Scriptures doesn't say, "the day of the Lord will start when the Lord will come to defeat the beast in Rev 19:11-21," which would make the rapture post-trib. It doesn't also say, the day of the Lord will come when the man of sin sets himself up in God's temple making/his image is set up making it mid-trib. What the Bible say is, the man of sin is revealed first then the day of the Lord starts, and not when he assumes power in Rev 6:2. And don't forget what Paul has said, that day won't catch us and pass us by(overtake) like a thief. So nope, 2Thess 2:2-3 don't speak against pre-trib rapture.
There's nothing that says there's a 7 year gap between the rapture and the second coming. They could happen on the same day. Matthew 24:13 says "But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved", meaning ALL living must prove their perseverance to the persecution.

My sister and I were baptized I was 15 and she was 20, it is the greatest gift you can give our Lord. My faith has been challenged by death of my parent's 6 months apart, in 2017 I had a Quadruple bypass and was sent home with an open chest. My husband rushed me back to the hospital. I was admitted with 2 very serious bacterial infections, 2 loose bolts in my sternum. At that point I started to pray 🙏 to God for guidance and help. He helped me at the worst time in my life. I had a dream when I was 7 years old that I met Jesus.
I died in a classroom and went straight to heaven and met him in the clouds. He was standing about 10 feet away from me and was clothed in a white robe with long dark hair. Suddenly we were looking down from heaven at my family and friends - it looked like we were staring at a doll house is how I’d describe it. I asked Jesus if I could go and see them and he told me “you can look but you can’t be.” I was so content with that. I didn’t feel sad or unhappy that I couldn’t talk to them, it was just a matter of fact. I think I was more happy to be with Jesus. Im glad Jesus gave me reassurance that I will be okay even after death and my loved ones feel the same. Can’t wait to see him again 🤍

Something that always gets me: people say the rapture happens at the end of the tribulation, Rev 19 when Jesus comes back. Yet at the 1st part of Rev 19 is the marriage supper of the Lamb, and the bride (believers) are dressed in fine linen, clean and white. THEN heaven is opened, Jesus returns WITH the armies of heaven who are ALSO dressed in fine linen, clean and white (again, believers). So how could it be possible that the rapture wont happen until Jesus returns, when it clearly says WE ARE WITH HIM??

consider this, a period of time between 500-1500 called dark ages. first printed bible for masses were printed late 1500s. most people were illiterate and so, ministers/pastors/vickers explained their theories on what they thought the bible actually said. all those guys who studied the bible revealed the dispensations and rapture.
Jim Oaks that’s not true though, bible theology flourished in that time period, 500-1500, with schools of thought like scholasticism, Aquinas, and many thinkers. It was the golden age of theology.

If you're wrong about the rapture, then you SHOULD be concerned about the antichrist, because he'll demand the mark on people in order to buy and sell and will also make war against God's people and conquer them. This calls for faith and endurance on the part of God's people and if you're not prepared for that, then it's quite possible that you can be part of the great falling away.

I don,t understand much of this , even as I read it. I know to watch for Jesus, comming from the clouds to get us , but that,s pretty much all of my understanding of all of this. & I feel time running out to understand. Our Pastor never seem to want to study revelation.
As I understand, revelation is very difficult to interpret, but I just wish some pastors would try one of it . I really feel I,m missing an important part f my teachings from the bible.

@Daniel Roman What 2Thess 2:3 says is that "that day(the Day of the Lord) will not come except/until the man of sin is revealed..." Now what is the Day of the Lord and how long it is? It encompasses the sudden destruction in 1Thess 5:2-3 and creation of new heaven and new earth in 2Pet 3:10-13. Both the coming of the Lord to take the believers(rapture) and the coming of the Day of the Lord are a thief in the night events(Matt 24:43-44; 1Thess 5:2, 2Pet 3:10. So to me, the rapture happens simultaneously with the start of the Day of the Lord. You might say now, it's mid-trib/post-trib rapture then because the man of sin has to be revealed first. Not so fast, the Scriptures doesn't say, "the day of the Lord will start when the Lord will come to defeat the beast in Rev 19:11-21," which would make the rapture post-trib. It doesn't also say, the day of the Lord will come when the man of sin sets himself up in God's temple making/his image is set up making it mid-trib. What the Bible say is, the man of sin is revealed first then the day of the Lord starts, and not when he assumes power in Rev 6:2.
And don't forget what Paul has said, that day won't catch us and pass us by(overtake) like a thief. So nope, 2Thess 2:2-3 don't speak against pre-trib rapture.

If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.
There's nothing that says there's a 7 year gap between the rapture and the second coming. They could happen on the same day. Matthew 24:13 says "But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved", meaning ALL living must prove their perseverance to the persecution.
Matthew 24 is dealing with the Jews during the Tribulation.
