- Classic cars are abandoned all around the world and are rotting away into the soil. It’s our duty to save history and make sure we have old school cars for the future. Today we will be exploring 22 acres that has a cars from the 1930’s all the way to the 90’s and hopefully bringing some home.
That Mopar wagon is the star of the yard. That RHD Studebaker is cool too. Cool video.
That dodge wagon would be sweet to have!
wow, i'm 67 and wish i could grow up and be you. i agree about valiant, exner was brilliant. the more those cars age, the better they look. mazda trucks were popular in connecticut, but no so much the piston ones. i'm glad you want the lanchia. those were popular with the new york set. they are just enough different to be snobish without being freaky. we had a number of those car yards in connecticut. you really had to go there a few times on your best church behavior before you were allowed to look around. those old owners really thought of those cars as their pets and were very protective. what absolute treasures we saw. thank you for this tour. i really enjoyed myself and want to extend my best wishes.
I appreciate your comment greatly! I have asked for a price on the old Lancia. It is a pretty complete car that I do not know much about which makes it just that more exciting. I’m also trying to get that big old red Dodge wagon that is just way too cool! Any of those yards left still in Connecticut?
@@RealSteelFabrications to the best of my knowledge no. i wish i could take you to ralph coles yard in woodbury. so standoff-ish to start with, to a solid friend in the end. he never scrapped an interesting car, and there were hundreds of them. he knew them all. when he retired he cataloged them. mt tobe auto near the waterbury airport was another favorite. some really great cars. the big problem at that place was that the family was always fighting (with guns). a young man could make a deal only to be caught up in the fued. as the years rolled by you could watch that car rot right in that spot. whittakers had cars by the thousands, to go there was epoch. as a young man the feelings were so strong, i would slip away and spend a few minutes by myself. i bet you know what i mean. these places only exist as memories now. best wishes, my younger brother.
@@russwabuda1556 wow! Couldn’t imagine deals where guns could possibly be involved. Appreciate the comment, I’m much like you and wish these old cars could all live a 2nd life. Take care!
@@RealSteelFabrications i did not make myself clear. they used the guns on one another. not the customers. i did go over to the cousin's side of the property and was called back. they said the cousin was a shooter. i looked around me and there bullet holes in sheet metal everywhere, how ever the cousin did not shoot at me. i did try to by an international 8-16 tractor, but there was just no dealing with them. if i do find a yard in connecticut i will relay the information to you. best wishes.
I couldn’t leave without that wagon
I tried getting it
Thank you for showing the lesser known cars. I like the wired stuff too! 👍
You bet!
13:05 The 64 Valiant is a 60/62 model. The green Cadillac with front damage is a 55/56 4 door hardtop with factory A/C. The Fire Chicken at the beginning was a Camaro. The Studebaker was most likely used as anmail.carrier car. AMC had right-hand drive mail car Ambassador models in the late 60's. The Dodge wagon is super rare. Those are the factory pedals. Has the pedal.dress up option. The dual band white wall. The tires on the Dodge wagon were very popular from about 1968 to 1971. So even though it was on the road til 1980, it probably didn't get much use. The silver foreign car atbthe beginning was a Lancia Beta from probably 1976 or so.
Caddy looks pretty good
Thank brother I love seeing stuff like this I’m 68 years lot of is hard to find
Glad you enjoyed it! Take care.
That Dodge wagon is cool and that 50s Cadillac 😎
I would love to have that wagon. It’s a decent price but I guess pending
Cadillac is a boat! Should have got some more footage of it. Pretty complete car. Someone bent the hood all up though
Yes that is true ,wish some one would fix it up
10:09 Right hand drive Studebaker, probably special ordered for rural mail delivery.
You’re probably right
Damn! I need the seat outta that b2k!!!
For sale
Amazing vintage junkyard ! There's still some " valuable parts " left on many of those old vehicles that should be salvaged before they crush 'em . Some body might need a window or a door etc. Those parts are becoming more scarce with each passing year . Mark E. Switzer 7:44
Oh yeah. I dig that Mazda truck. That dealer install bumper is sweet!
@@Oldbugssy that’s what I’m saying! I’ve never seen a dealership do something like that before
great entertainment!
Appreciate it!
Honestly, that Ford Festiva would've been a great candidate for an easy fix!
I'm happy you bought the Mazda B2000. That bumper is dealer added! Surprised that the rats didn't eat the papers!
I also really like the RHD Studebaker, but it's too far gone unfortunately. It's become a Flintstone car at that point.
Fuel injected stuff can be difficult after sitting a while, unless that Festiva is old enough to have a carb. I love the Mazda bumper! Wish the old studebaker wasn’t so gone
The very rare 64 Dodge hardtop wagon is a very rare car we never see them in Canada. as they wern't sold here.
I would love to have it
I had a 1980 Mazda pickup truck and I love that truck had a 5-speed in it
That’s what mine have
Damn I wish I could have some of those bumpers
I'd love to have a couple of those square bodies with brother truck and lmc I could rebuild them to new
The old station wagon would be cool, the car you didn’t recognise was a lancia they rusted when leaving the factory and were recalled here in 🇬🇧, that one you see actually looked in good condition.
Ya I didn’t see any major rust concerns on that Lancia surprisingly. Hopefully we can get the Dodge wagon.
The lancia is an extremely rare car now, I would imagine even more so in 🇺🇸, the wagon has such nice lines.
Please someone save that 50s Cadillac !
Id save that Dodge wagon....The four door hardtop wagons are hard to find!
They are awesome. I had a 61 Chrysler Newport wagon years ago. Love the open look when the windows are down.
Sounds like someone else is buying it
I feel you on wanting to own a property like that. It would be fun to pull them out one at a time to mess with them. Would make for great content too.
Exactly! I just don’t know if I’ll ever get the opportunity to buy something like this. I was being serious about trying to buy all of the land with the cars.
My choice is that blue 1950s Cadillac with the wrap-around windshield.
It’s pretty awesome
save the caddy
Where is this place
Listed on marketplace in central Missouri
3,35 It is a Lancia, it is italian. Mads from Denmark
Poor old cars don't tick any more, but I bet you got a few on that trip...
Ya too many lol
Wonderful place.
It really is!
I love wagons and 47-54 Chevy trucks
I love them all!
Devon,i gotta be the voice of your Dad here--Much of that stuff is too far gone. yes, its cool, but too much work, if even possible. Yes to the Mazda truck. And you were poking around in that Studebaker with a snake skin hanging--I'd have been using a stick to poke around.
Ya it’s a shame. These cars should have been for sale much sooner! I didn’t even notice a snake skin lol. Was to intrigued by the right hand drive.
hell yeah love the vids brother keep it going
@@isaiandjezer3836 appreciate it! Can’t beat a day looking at some old cars tucked in the woods
So glad you saved the 84 Mazda pickup ,wonder how many miles showed on odometer , I used to have an 82 and a 84 SE Mazda trucks , loved the great gas Mileage they got
I’ll have to look and see
Wish that wagon wasn’t so hard to get out, looks fun 11:27
I bet we could get it
@@RealSteelFabrications it's a 64 and the pedals are factory I had a 63 convertible years ago, Basically the same as the 64.
How do we go about saving these? Theres a few Id either pick parts from or buy.
Are you located in Missouri?
@@RealSteelFabrications .....yes , outside of St. Louis ..... why keeping the location secret ??
Rescue that Lancia beta!!
Trying too!
The Dodge wagon should be saved!
I tried but sounds like someone else is getting it
The mopar wagon would be cool with modern engine.
I agree! Going to try and get it
I hope you buy that Mazda pickup, it'll be loaded with small parts and unobtanium fasteners, brackets and so on .
The rear step bumper you're so enamored of was a regular dealer thing ~ locally made and stamped with the dealer's name .
Sadly, all these _could_ have been sold and saved decades ago but junkyard men are a funny bunch ~ they don't really want to sell anything until it's ruined beyond repair and totally worthless .
I remember so many good vehicles in junkyards in the early 1960's, they just let them all rust away .
I ran a pocket VW junkyard in a college town in the 1970's and I sold everything because one you've paid for the hulk it's all gravy .
I don't think you showed 100 vehicles.....
-Nate
Got the Mazda! I love the bumper! You’re so right about if these were sold sooner a lot of them would be in much better shape. It’s a shame, but at least they are doing something about it now.
I bet with a little TLC that 1940 s catpilar bull dozer would still work.
Just no way of getting it out lol
The 80s cars are not junk 80s make nice cars like buick grand national GNX Montel Carlos mustang Camaro cadillac dodge and 70s too compared to
Car now a day's plastic bumper
Sad those getting crush save them.
Ill wish ill could save them no place to put them
The 57 Chevy is cool
The 4 dooooor?
Wheres your dad hes always smiling i miss that hes dear to my heart
Location of this property ?
Mopar wagon green studybaker
In CC
I'd say they towed them back there and parked them
Probably so
After market break pedal & gas pedal 😂😂 No thats back when designer's of automobiles took pride in their work!! Lmfao. The right hand drive stude would be pretty unique ride!!
Those pedals were factory? Never seen those in an old mopar. I agree about the Studebaker, would love to know the history on it
@@RealSteelFabricationsyou’ve gotta save that old dentside tow truck and the race car!
@@Aussieiron129they’re pretty awesome. Not for sure what I would do with the race car tho
@@RealSteelFabrications Pedals are factory. I had a 63 Custom 880
convertible and it had those pedals.
I’d be a buyer of any mostly complete mid-sized station wagon or short-bed dodge pickup with manual transmission.
A lot of these are missing several parts unfortunately
I’m in Northwest Arkansas where is this place located? Thanks I just subscribed to your channel.
Appreciate the sub! We are central Missouri
Location & contact?
A few parts and a lot of toasters
Ain’t that the truth
@@RealSteelFabrications sad but true. Did you see any 1950 Oldsmobiles. 88 in particular. I figure there's more that you saw that maybe you did not show.
@@CAROLDDISCOVER-1983 I showed most of everything. There were maybe 20 more cars, but no Olds I can recall
@@RealSteelFabrications thank you.
Dodge wagon was sweet, unfortunately in my eyes, no car deserves to die!
Same here. I hope I’m able to buy it
who do I contact about the 64 dodge station wagon
Pending
Time stamp 17:24, 66 or 67 Chevy Nova is worth a ton of $!
Even in that condition?
@@RealSteelFabrications Yep! 💯
Buying the whole lot is not allowed when your offer is below scrap value.
I would love to save the Cadillac at 1:36 time stamp!
It’s an amazing car! Looks like it is all there for the most part. Someone bent the crap out of the hood. I could probably save it if the price is right!
@RealSteelFabrications
Would you happen to know how much he is asking for it? Also, is it on the chopping block to get crushed?
Thanks!!
I also like the weird cars too. I saved a 1968 Dodge D500 from the crusher. It sat since 1987 in a barn. I rebuilt the carb, changed the oil, and cleaned the points. Fired right up and runs perfectly.
@@alexsprings87I’m not for sure on price yet. I’m sure if it doesn’t sell soon it’ll get crushed. That’s awesome about the D500, good buy!
Personally I would save every car made before they started putting so much electronics in them, given the opportunity. However, parts are hard to come by and.......money.
I wish I could!
Highly agred
Do you know if there's a 70 ranchero?
@@markedwards9153same!
@@victoriawalker1999there is not. I almost showed everything. It’s a smaller yard

1963 Studebaker
50s baby blue Cadillac
Blue 1958 Chevy Bel Air
1965 Pontiac

The 64 Dodge wagon.
STOP CRUSHING CLASSIC VEHICLES!!! It should be illegal
I agree
Agreed
First comment ‼️
@@cliffsbackyardgarage834 you were on it!
Without everything being inventoried, cataloged and organized how could he make sales and stay in business? Demand for these cars have almost disappeared but demand is starting to return.
Unknown car is Lancia Beta Berlina
@@КузнецоваИрина-т7и I want it!
@@RealSteelFabrications But Studer with right hand drive is amazing!

Mid missouri but I think most of them are sold at this point
No excuse for hoarder yards like this. Keep the metal going through the recycling system!
Show more of the cars and less of the guy.
Ouch
US get rid of his cars history...
I'd love to bring my crusher and loader in there a crush everything. Just crushed over 500 classics here in citrus County florida. Yard was abandon for years
@@Carcrusher1998 not into saving them?
@RealSteelFabrications no, I love crushing classics, it's more fun than crushing everyday newer cars
