    Federer was insane on clay too. On each surface! Even though people say Federer's backhand and clay court are his biggest weakness, without crazy Nadal Federer would have won 3 or 4 Grand Slam titles more. With a more consistent backhand he would be unstoppable for so many years more

    • @benparsons4979
      @benparsons4979 2 года назад +3

      he had a consistent backhand, but after 2012 til 2016, his backhand was just poor

      And I just don't understand why some people say Federer is bad on clay like he is one of the best players on clay even his game style is not good with his equipment and game style. I think if Roger changed his racquet way before( actually roger first used 97" in 2013 ) he might had added more clay tournaments and more RG's to his legacy.

    As a Novak fan, I say that this match and 2011 USO are their two best matches. It's when they were both playing closest to their best. After 2011, Novak had the upper hand for the most part, and before 2011 Roger did.

      @@zarkoostojic9063 if there’s one thing we’ve learnt in the last 15 years, it’s that Roland Garros is a different ball game compared to every single other tournament, including other clay masters, for Nadal. He can literally be losing everywhere but still win at RG.
      I don’t think Djokovic would’ve won in 2011 either seeing as though Federer beat him. Beating Nadal would’ve been an even more monumental task, despite heading into that potential match on a streak or a momentum.
