I must've missed something. How're you supposed to know how to place the pipes at 11:32? I knew I needed to use the pipes for something, but it took me forever to find that wall socket. When I did, I tried a couple of combinations, and once they didn't work, I fumbled around for an embarrassing 15 minutes looking for a nonexistent 4th pipe.

Basically everything says “it’s stuck” and the bridge doesn’t move as slowly as it does in the video. I’ve tried running to it and jumping, it’s impossible. I’ve done everything in the video and triple checked. This game feels so broken.. idk why people love it so much
What I've done with the door that you needed to open with a wheel I've put some boxes under the door so I can easily access the next room without using the wheel!! :D
oh that’s funny. I stacked a couple boxes under the slowly dropping door to keep it from shutting. I’ve been wondering what the hell the crank in the inventory is for. Thanks to this I now know! lol I also just tossed a stone on the stuck bridge to bring it down. But the jumping thing was creative👍🏻
Uhh, it's been some time plus this is a reupload 😁 Almost sure these valves helped draining the water in the earlier flooded passage but I wouldn't bet my hand on it.

I found the timestamp. Its 6:24 timestamp with the chest that has the oil and tinderbox.Its next to that big thing with water going into it.I also have the wooden crank.I messed up with not using it on that heavy gate in the control room,so now i cant use it on anything.I messed up on some things in the cistern to.That chest was empty,so idk if when i messed some things up in the cistern if that affected that.I cant get the other lever for the bridge to go down and the first lever on the right i cant get it to level with the other side of the bridge.Even when i messed up on parts of the game it let me progress.I didn't use the wooden crank on the gate inside the control room once i got the pipe pieces on the wall.I need help
Using the wooden crank is not necessary. I still don't know the trigger for breaking the original, metal valve that you use there but I had a number of playthroughs with two different outcomes in this regard. I think you're good here, just make sure you follow the playthrough closely in this section, as it requires some specific actions. Pay close attention at the moments where I turn the valves. There is one moment where you turn them up to the point where you hear a click - you'll know you did it right when all three lock in place.

Nvm. There were something red at the end of the "cistern" at someone else video, but it wouldn't show and now i cant continue and I done the Control room correctly, but the water room, isnt right or something.. idk
My playthrough has been easy bc at some point in the section before the elevator my game glitched, it did the slow down and listen part, and now no monster can attack me, but i walk slow as hell

I did the machine room but the water didn't lower and then i lowered the bridge with a rock to get to the other room where you inject yourself with the blood from a body and went back to the main sewer room.. I don't know what to do after all that..i still can't go to the place because of the water
Ok... I got it... It wouldnt do the flash thing when I put the pipes on and for some reason when I messed with the water pressure thing it work so yeah

Big pipe... big pipe... the exact spots are in the vid. If the pipe ain't there, maybe it did glitch out of your game. I played through Amnesia like 3 or 4 times and never had a game breaking issue. Good luck.
Doesn’t work on PS4. Solved the pipe puzzles and heard from Alexander but the lever won’t lower the east bridge even part way. Yes I know it doesn’t lower it all the way but the lever has no effect
Hi. People have been mentioning that. I also experienced this in my time with the game. Broken crank is optional and has no impact on any of the story puzzles.
When i opened the chest in the cistern it was empty and i think i messed up on the bridge becuase now it wont move.im stuck and i dont want to start another game.
I doubt the game has a possibility of preventing the player from making any progress. I'm sure we could figure this out if you want to. However, I'll need a time stamp which chest you're talking about, as it's been years since I made this walkthrough and I genuinely don't remember such details.

levers so they align as follows from left to right: down, up, up, down Check this and pull levers all the way in the rooms because i thought i had it. Had to go back to this puzzle then everything as it should.
I don't even want to know what extreme shite you've been doing with it for that to happen... It's been years now and I don't remember well. I don't recall Amnesia having an autosave system that would allow you to choose from a list of saves taken at every game segment, like The Witcher 3 for instance, so... have fun replaying the game 🤣🤣🤣👌

I don't think there are any clues for the pipes. You just need to go wacky with them.

If anyone is stuck at the jump, do it backwards. Worked for me
With mine it just raises to the same level as that bridge, not above it

How am I supposed to know which one is the last one for you? ;) Just look through the video carefully - I didn't skip anything so it should be there.
For me i did it with no fourth pipe only 3. What i had to do was make the weights the same as in the other room
is only 3 but there is the for of you put these 3.
1 small pipe in the left
1 large pipe in the medium
1 small pipe in the medium

Wheel falling off/ wooden crank thing is definitely optional.

It didn't matter at that point. When I was recording this walkthrough it was like a 3rd playthrough.
