Growing presence of zebra mussels in Clear Lake

Parks Canada is warning that zebra mussels are building a presence in Clear Lake, as businesses in the area deal with the agency’s temporary watercraft management measures.

I’ve seen zebra mussels in Lake Ontario. No wonder you can’t swim in the lakes anymore.

Some fishermen in Ontario tell me some lakes are a lot clearer because of the muscles.

@@Steve-mz7np Lake Ontario had green algae from container ships. It’s not seaweed. The mussels came from container ships. It was disgusting!
