Kevin, thank you for yet another great video! The way I've been inserting my signature or signature block is, instead of using quick parts, I save the signature image or signature block in auto correct. For example, I copy the signature image or signature block, then go into the auto correct feature. I then give the signature image or signature block a name (i.e., "mysig" which is short for "my signature" ). I then save the auto correct. Now whenever I want to insert my signature image or signature block, I type "mysig" (without the quotation marks) and my signature or signature block is automatically inserted!
Fantastisk! I cannot write on my phone. But I have a new Asus flip14 with touchscreen. I did my signature there direct in OneNote. I did the work on my main computer, via OneDrive, and there followed the description. I made it and I am 76. Many thanks to Kevin.
Thanks man! P.S. I used Windows 10 "Snip" to simply screen capture my edited signature (word's 50% white feature you mentioned) and saved it to an easy spot on my PC. Just copy paste.
Not sure if this helps, but you can also save the doc as a PDF and you can sign it in Reader. The word doc I needed to sign was a locked type and didn't allow me to add/insert anything. You end up with a PDF but it worked out in my situation.
Hi Nice video. Just one question tho. This way of signing the document will allow anyone with access to the document to copy your signature. Is there anyway to prevent this?
Thanks for this video. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to "sign" a document without a touchpad and without the awful gray background on my text LOL
Thank you for making the vide. This is very good information. It saves me a lot of time. My signature consist of three parts, like you add a dot, so I snip it and save the file from the snip.
Yes! SQL is high on my list. Out of curiosity, are you just looking at querying data for business analysis purposes or are you also looking at building tables and adding data? Stay tuned!
A little help for quick parts: Select the complete signature , hit ALT + F3 and give it a short name, for example sig. Whenever you want to insert it in any of your documents just type sig and hit F3.
Another great video Kevin!👍 Adds a great personal touch to correspondence! Perfect match along with your Outlook signature video. People asked me how I did it and I turned them onto your channel to learn even more. Keep up the awesome work!
I followed your instructions but when I right click and pull up the "Cusomize the Ribbon" DRAW is not listed as an option. Is there another way to get to it?
This is a great video. Is there any way to change the background color of the signature in OneNote? For example, if I want the text to be white but the background to be black, is this possible?
Great idea using Quick Steps. I wound up doing the transparency in a real graphics app, just because I was playing with one anyway, but this works great. As Kevin did here, you'll want to use a fairly dark pen when signing with method 3. It makes it easier for the software to know what to leave alone.
Hi Kevin Thank you for all your vidéos. Most of them are very helpfull to me (some are know apps for me, sorry) But as usfull as they may be there are some big diffrences when using windows and mac, would it be possible to outline diffrences ... sometimes. As an example, the "ruban" doesn't allow me to add the"draw" ou"dessiner" ( I'm using a French" edition of word). It is in a grey shade and locked. I found the "developer" tab in the setting but I just can't find the draw. Of course the help in Word says do this and to that but it doesn't say how to activate the draw tab. Thank you Allen

Wow!! I’m gonna try that. 👍🏽
Clever…

Thanks man! P.S. I used Windows 10 "Snip" to simply screen capture my edited signature (word's 50% white feature you mentioned) and saved it to an easy spot on my PC. Just copy paste.
Draw is only available on the latest version of Word. He omits to mention this salient fact.
Thank you! That answers my question! I was going crazy trying to find what I don't have! lol
@@lindaguajardo3146 You are welcome. It's so irritating when IT guys give solutions but omit to say which version of Word or Windows they are using.
Thank you. Been looking for minutes.

Hi, are signature created in Words able to be inserted into pdf files too as digital signature?
Kevin, is there a way to secure your signature in Word so it's not used after you have created it like you shown in your tutorial

Kevin's THE MAN
Mr. S...How do you create a sentence you use forty times a day into a "CTRL" Special key, and that sentence is placed in your document?
Hi Kevin
