- The last section of The Fife Coastal Path is the most challenging with 17.75 miles to walk and 641m of ascent. We took a short detour to Balmerino Abbey which is well worth it. Glad to be finished another long distance trail.

Sunny spring weather like you enjoyed, not exactly a common event in Fife, but when it does happen, you get to see what a grand piece of country it is. Beautifully videoed😊
Seeing a dog can provoke cattle to bunch together and charge towards you. So very sensible of you to avoid and show caution!!
Brora, of course, thought it just a bit of fun, like winding the lead round the gate posts 😅
Thanks Mike. Fife is beautiful especially in the sunshine. I agree, cows are best avoided with a dog. Thanks so much for watching. 👍
Lovely views . Brora was so excited.
Thank you Ian. 🙏 Yeah, she’s always excited. 😝
Great video - this and the pilgrims way are my go to walks when I’m not up munros
Thank you Eddy. 🙏
Thanks for the great video of this beautiful yet little known area of Scotland. Cant. Wait to get home and give it a go . Cheered me up know end😊
Aww thanks Neil, can definitely recommend the Fife CP and this section was one of my favourites (apart from the coos 😂).
exceland as always Linda.Thank you.
Thanks Andrew. 🙏
Thanks. I didn’t think there was a direct bus which is strange
Hi there, well done for completing the Path, impressive ending/starting archway, atb Simon
Aww, thanks Simon. Yes, that arch was a very welcome sight. 👍
I thought I saw you and Brora at the bus stop in Newburgh.Turns out it was lol.Well done Linda
Thanks Steve. We probably both looked knackered. 😴
Nice one Linda
Thank you. 🙏
Keep making these videos they are very enjoyable, maybe meet you some day walking with my dog Oscar a collie cross spaniel.
That would be cool! 🐶 Thanks so much for watching. 👍
Thanks Linda for another great video 👍😁
Do you ever have a problem with ticks on the lovely Brora? 🐾
Thanks Lorraine. She has a Bravecto tablet every 3 months for fleas & ticks. The odd one seems to attach usually around her face or ears but they’re easy to remove. 👍
Great video again. So how did you get back to the Tay Bridge? Is there a direct bus?
Thank you. No, there isn’t unfortunately. My plan had been to get the bus from Newburgh to Ladybank train station & the train to Dundee then walk back over the bridge. I just missed a bus at Newburgh and luckily got a lift back to Newport from my daughter. 👍
Where did you get Brora's lead? Looks fab.
It’s a Ruffwear Roamer lead, 2nd one I’ve had & can highly recommend. 👍
