GeForce Now: Actually functions properly.
Google Stadia: *Quietly cries in the corner...*
Yep, but becaus of google S(hit)tadia some publishers remove their games from Geforce Now. What for those who don't have a powerfull pc and bought games to play them on geforce now, and now those A-holes from activision and bethesda remove them? Greedy f*ers.
HarmonicaPL ehm, if you don't have the hardware to play a game, don't buy it. None of these things can be used as a substitute for owning a proper gaming PC which incidentally isn't expensive to have now anyway, for 200 instead of this dungpile he could have gotten a Elite 8200, and a GTX-1650 and been running all that stuff locally
@@HarmonicaPL why are they removing the games from geforce now because of stadia? What does stadia have to do with geforce now aside from the fact that they're competitors?
@@JustA.Person legal agreements - activision got a contract with google stadia so their games can be played only with their streaming service exclusively. This way they can sell their games for the second time. Activision Blizzard finalised the deal with Google after they put their games on Geforce Now, so they needed to remove them. The way activision and google acts is pure ripping the consumer. If a person bought their games and subscribed Geforce Now to play then then now this person is deprived of way to play those games. No matter that a person bought a game and wanted to play it with streaming service which is really renting a powerfull computer, so a game publisher has nothing to do with it. They want to make more money making people to buy games their already own.
@@noth606 I strongly disagree. If there is a service which allows me to play games even without having a powerfull pc, why I can't I use it this way? The idea of game streaming is to give access to games for people who can't/don't want to pay for a bit more capable hardware and are happy with casual gaming. The way publishers, mostly activision which was the first to do so, is just a pure consumer ripping. I've got a pc with gtx 1060 which is capable enough for my needs, but I also got a cheap laptop which I want to game on when I'm not at home. So if I can rent a powerfull machine, which game streaming services really is, and play games I want on hardware I have, then why the publisher doesn't allow me to do so, even if the game was previously available and I've already payed for it? It's just the way to make you purchase the game twice - because activision got a deal with google, that their games will be streamed only on stadia. So, geforce is basically working and much better in technical terms than stadia, but it is being slaughtered by publishers to remove their games in favor of stadia, to sell them second time via the new streaming service. Streaming may not be a gaming substitute for pro gamers who play competetively or just want as little lag as possible, but for a casual gamer, who wants to play a few games without breaking a bank, that's more than enough. And it's cheaper to, you would need to pay for Geforce Now for about 5 or 6 years, to spent money equivalent of midrange gpu, without counting for the rest of pc. You just forget that different people got different needs and a good streaming service can be sufficent enough for them. In this case removing game by a publisher and cancelling access to it for those who already paid and then making it a the-other-stream-exclusive is purely being a dick.

Sorry about your geolocation.
Light can only travel so fast, bud.
@@Fireholder1 Light travels at 186,282 miles per second (299,792 kilometers per second). Light can go around the Earth 7.5 times in one second. That is a 133 ms maximum ping, gaming from the exact opposite side of the earth, due to the speed of light.
@@abram730
Light is slightly slower when traveling through a medium. Your calculation is based on the speed of light in a vacuum.
Regardless, Internet data aren't a continuous beam of light, and they most definitely don't travel at the speed of light.
It's fast, but not that fast.
The problem, dear sir, is not that the data can't travel fast enough along the medium, the problem is the time it takes each device to handle a data packet. This is called 'latency', and is measured in milliseconds.
An increase in distance means an increase not only in the time it takes the packet to travel along the medium, whether that packet is sent as an electrical signal or a pulse of light, but also the number of devices that must process the packet between source and destination.
Australia is a very long distance away from the rest of the Western world.
Slightly less/slightly more than half a day away, as the Earth spins.

😂😂😂
You can't reduce latency below 100ms, some of it are impossible to solve such as hardware latency, and some are on the network which isn't as fast or stable since routing on the internet is usually congested and some nodes responds slowly.
For instance a ping test is fast cuz its only several bytes of data in packets... Actual video and audio and controls being streamed involves a LOT MORE DATA.
130Mbps download is meaningless if the server is 90ms away from you across the country. More speeds doesn't make the stream come sooner (just more thoroughout from your PC to your ISP, after that its slower connection from node to node to the target), you need to upgrade the world's network to fiber optic for that.
@@dra6o0n Indeed, I can get below 25ms latency with Parsec and AWS T4 Instances.

i have just tried this out to see for myself and i must same it's quiet impressive and will definitely help the very low tier of PC builds (plus like to see a vid about this but with a PC built under the $100 price or lower) but there are some issue about it, like when i was playing Rocket league the resolution did drop to what i think it look like is 720p briefly and another issue is you need to own the game, shore you might have the game already in you steam library and it's 70gb or more to download which could take a full day or two but if you compare it against the Xbox PC game pass then for me the Xbox will win hands down in the subscription area, Yes you have to download the games but you are not paying £50+ on each game if GeForce Now was to combine with steam and Xbox game pass and some others then the gaming world will change but if that don't happen then I see it lost and forgotten like all the others that came before it to steam games.
The game takes less than 1 minute to download a game, I have been purchasing steam games since 2013 just randomly, and I discovered this last week XD, it is very impressive, I own a good PC Gaming and it surprise me that I do not have to buy the next Xbox, ps4 or build another PC because I have a good internet and it runs perfectly I belive this is a revolutionary way to play, and if internet services and data gets better this is gonna rule, yes it is sad that you have to buy the games but think you are saving on the build, and you can play it for free, even thinking is just 1hr, but you just restart, or pay 5dlls, maybe in the future will we be receiving more free games and turning this into a Netflix gaming, if there's is a new info I could know let me know it

I can sell you an 8 gb rx580 for like $90
@@caveresch Thanks much for the offer, but I'm currently saving to buy a proper system, using an RX580 with my current will lead to a lot of bottleneck. I believe that someone in need (maybe an upcoming graphic designer) will appreciate this alot. Hope someone sees it and you get it sold. Thanks again!
@@alandoangatiah5751 yeah no problem just thought I'd throw it out there... Got a stupid sick deal on ebay for a 5700xt and decided I need to pay it forward and try and give the 580 to someone for cheap cheap... 90 might still be a bit much haven't really checked prices lol so sorry if it seemed high after my previous statement.
Fire up GeForce now and your good to go lol.
I think even Lyle would approve of this experience. Give it to him for WRKHRS3!

@@candidosilva7755 no the free version is limited tho only 1hr gameplay at a time then reload but still awesome
about that PC-partpicker list you put together at the start of the video, NEVER get 4 GB of Ram , ever, seriously, just buy older parts second hand if you need to save money. heck i would buy a power supply off AliExpress (don't do this either) before i would go with only 4GB of Ram.
pretty awesome access! Some people with very old PCs can connect and play current games.
When you switched monitors didn’t you go to 60 Hz so then your latency becomes 1/60 x 4 = 0.067 ms?
It's not about the screen framerate, but the camera framerate, I believe.
Give me local rendering or give me death! You can have my dedicated hardware when you pry it from my cold, dead hands!
But seriously, I'm not pleased by everyone jumping on the cloud bandwagon. I trust the hardware more when I have physical access to it.
Well the hardware isn't going to cheat on you unlike "her".
Well technically it's seeing lots of other people behind your back... Sorry for the bad news.
At this point I think Nvidia will stop selling GPUs
when it comes to competitive gaming I'd trust nvidia cloud over a 40yo virgin I their moms basement with cheat engine installed
Well I do indeed like it when my hardware sits under my table BUT in times of not being home like being in school or on a trip with a laptop and acceptable internet connection this is saving my life.
Some of us can’t afford hardware :(
So, you need internet?
Already a barrier for me at the moment.

But dont think you could do this as a german.
German internet is like steam locomotives in the age where hyperloop is mainstream.
and it works on chromebooks now. and chromebooks are all from the cloud so you can never run out of memory. quite awesome
Nooo he didn’t put it on competitive so he’s gonna get lower FPS 😭

When you're so early there's no good comments
i highly recommend this product. i do prefer a dedicated graphics card, but this program completely blew my mind i did not expect GeForce Now to work as well as it did. off of my 2015 mac book air 4gb 1600 MHz DDR3 ram intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB i was able to run high settings on both csgo and fortnite OFF OF A WIRELESS CONNECTION. i started off with csgo running on high everything. the game ran smooth with 1 lag spike it the 20 mins i played, considering the fact i was playing wirelessly to my network at 108mp down 12 up. the game was playable for sure as expected. now with fortnite i was just blown away playing at 100-200 fps on high settings off a 2015 macbook air. for anyone wondering i got 10 kills and won the game. also something to throw in Geforce Now auto record any kill and win not really sure what else on fortnite or other games but its nice for content creators. currently i'm saving money up to buy parts to build my computer this will do till then. you can get an hour of play, i'm pretty sure its an hour a day, and for 5$ its unlimited time. all in all its awesome its exactly what the community needed and i had no clue it existed. after typing a whole essay in the comment section of a youtube video im going to conclude my story with me going to sleep its 5:30 AM. Goodnight.
It's an hour a session for free (not hour a day). After a session ends you can immediately join another hour long session. And so on. So you can play way more than an hour a day for free.
@@estusflask982 i just went ahead and got the founders one free 90 days and then 5$ a month after ill have my pc built before the 90 days are up ill just cancel it then it also plays rust pretty well no lag or anything just depending on your wifi
Works like a charm with Macbook Pro late 2013 roughly $200 value although response is much better with ethernet connection through Thunderbolt port than using wi-fi.
