Dear Alejandro! thank you for putting out this awesome video - I did a couple of vids back when I published the plugin - but you're a much better video creator :-).
I'm so humbled and grateful - you put a big smile on my face.
Cheers, Eran.
Aw I AM humbled! Thank you so much for the super kind words Eran, you are a wonderful person! Thanks for the super fun script ❤️
Thank you for watching! ❤and thank you Eran for creating this fun script!
Btw, if you get to try the plugin, let me know how low you can go with the error bound! I think my best so far is around 9-10
Sidenote:
I aaaalmost uploaded this one to the low-effort channel, but last minute I decided to post here. After some thinking I decided to cut back a bit on the effort I put on this main channel videos and streamline my workflow. For the past videos I was using like 3 different softwares to edit, lots of planning and preparation and tooons of overthinking.
It's fun and I am proud of the results! but it made the process very overwhelming, especially if I am working on more things like writing articles, posting content, creating resources and all that~ So I am happy with creating more videos like this :) (thank you for reading!!)
I'm surprised you didn't show the main feature. You can create different rhythms by adding/removing green lines using the right mouse button, not just equal division of beats.
I HAD NO IDEAAA. thats so coool!!
this is awesome! I keep wanting to do more with Reaper, but I'm just too comfortable in Ableton to make the switch.
WOW! Thank you for this! I have been tyring to get my timing up, well--just started 2 days ago..so this is perfect. I need to really find out other things in Reaper.
genial!!! muchas gracias Alejo!
Really good mate 🤘 thanks for the video 🙏
THIS IS COOL!
You are cool!!
Great channel and great video. What do you think about a video to help edit level presets from a keyboard or guitar processor for a live rehersal using Reaper?
👏👏👏
I'm really curious to try this with my practice pad or my snare. It may be a really good exercice
oow that sounds like the perfect way!
Thanks Alejandro!
Is it possible to comfortably use this with the latency added by audio interface?
I see vu meter on your matter bus. Is it Reaper 7 theme stuff or I can use it with my Reaper 4 theme?
Thanks❤
Thank you andivax! Yes, definitely comfortable! There's also a slider to adjust for latency compensation in case you have any.
You can get the VU meters with any theme, I wrote about it here → www.reapertips.com/post/how-to-show-vu-meters-on-tracks
Hi Alejandro, this script seem fine, but when I activate play on Reaper, there is no more MIDI messages from my keyboard that goes to my VSTi. This is true if I use Reaper's click or the click note from JS MIDI rythm trainer (which I hear on my VSTi). Any clue ?
Helloo! No idea that's weird :( it should work fine. Did you try changing the order and maybe having the vsti first?
@@Reapertips Well, I just tried that without effect. I finally came back from scratch with a Pianoteq track template where I added the MIDI rythm trainer and it works fine. Really don't know what happened with my first attempt. Thanks.
oooohoo that looks cool. have to test that
