This is killer! I'm glad yall are finally addressing these things and putting them into practice. Our company - No Box Games, has launched 3 projects on the platform (with our latest being live right now!) and we can't wait to take advantage of the Late Pledge feature as soon as our campaign ends. Personally as a backer I'm looking for the more simplified hub to see the stage/status of each project I've backed and hopefully more projects will use these internal tools so I don't have to be on 5 different pledge managers wondering what is going on lol.
I stopped backing kickstarater projects because so many were left unfulfilled.I might start backing again when the improvements protecting backers are introduced next year. I was disappointed that this update was mostly for the creators. The other problem with kickstarters is that if a product breaks, there is no way to fix it.
I'm been satisfied with 99% of the things I've backed of Kickstarter. The trick is to only back things that are basically done already, and the only real reason they need Kickstarter at all is to cover the production costs. If they can accurately show what you're getting via pictures, videos, and RUclipsr reviews in their campaign; you have a high chance of getting what you're looking for.
15 years later, it is evident that these visions should have been realized/applied long ago. The mentioned changes are fundamental to any successful campaign, with teamwork paramount. Without it, most endeavors often come to a premature end, acting as the final straw. Your creators have faced significant challenges in the past. However, with the implemented changes applied correctly, the burden will be lightened, allowing more creators to find success. Only time will tell.
I would like more info on how late pledges work. Both from a backer and a project manager standing. My last campaign I set the goals based on how many backers there were. I didn’t order ANY additional product. What do I do with these late backers.?
I can't believe a stove top and pop sockets got a bigger callout than the entire board game and tabletop RPG industry. Only Exploding Kittens gets a mention? Really?
Why is it that backers are unable to contact you? Your forms almost always state there are issues? In 2024 there have already been 7 projects I backed, was charged and the creator did not even submit one update. I understand that a project may have issues but lately your creators disappear as soon as they get our money. There must be something wrong with the process you vet these creators.
I will only support the 3D printed models from Kickstarter. I backed the Yaw VR and Feelreal. The Feelreal one is a total lost. I am already losing hope on Yaw VR. Thousand of dollars down the drain. I dont recommended.
when are you going to ban AI-generated rubbish on your platform to protect actually creative projects? Nobody wants it but "creators" are constantly trying to sell it to cut costs (ie. further impoverish artists and writers)

Let's go! The momentum keeps building with Kickstarter
Kickstarter is a scam, they do not protect the backers of projects, they only protect the creators.
We are grateful

This is so exciting!! Working on releasing my first fundraiser ever
Overall, I would rank this video an A. Absolute banger changes to crush the Gamefound Rebellion.
All hail our Kickstarter Overlords.
An exciting update!

loads of great stuff happening! Nice one team!
Why did you ban Jon Del Arroz Sci-Fi comic? Did Marvel stand at your doorstep?
