I absolutely enjoyed this GoT reaction with the Nameless Couple. The husband's comments and observations were especially hilarious. Such a sharp wit. I would definitely watch this reaction again.
Dude, the Jon Snow reveal was a dope moment, even for people who were nearly 100% certain about it before season one even started. Being able to suspect something without knowing for certain isn't bad writing, it's the opposite. Anyone can write a surprise twist without any hints to the twist, but that isn't rewarding at all to the audience. When you can have a huge reveal like that and go back and say "Omg it was all right there" that's awesome. Also, once you know she had a baby, of course you're gonna guess it was Jon. Like, Ned has one bastard and people say time and time again how it was so out of character for him to cheat.
The writing and production from seasons 1 through 6 is the best that has ever been put to TV, imo. Too bad they rushed through 7 n 8 because of god damn star wars lol. 7 n 8 actually are a lot better on a 2nd viewing though. Plus, whenever someone says that DnD are bad writers who only got to where they are because of GRRM, I remind them of the amazing things they did that weren't in the books. For example, season 4 Arya and Sandor. That was all DnD.
The build up makes it good if you've suspected for a long time, but not if you've suspected for 5 seconds. In 5 seconds you lose the surprise but also lose significance of the reveal
@@MFBloosh and hardhome what alot of people still think is the best got episode and then they dare to say therywere only good with grrm when hardhome was all D and D
This is a great ending point for you and the nameless couple. We've really enjoyed your reactions and appreciate the time and effort you put into editing. Great reaction!
This might be the most epic and most satisfying episode of GoT period. The two queens and the one king walking to their respective thrones (that "Long Walk" teaser for Season 7!) After this it's all tragedy & heartache.
Oh I love the surprises! This was fantastic. Thank you so much for these reactions. I know it was an enormous undertaking but you made so many people excited for GoT again. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! ❤️😊❤️
Thanks for the ride Sheri! Thanks to the nameless couple - I loved hearing the many "fantastic" and "amazing" comments coming from both of them on this episode. This was the best reactions from them - ending on a high! Brilliant. Best of luck with your new road Sheri!
I’m just glad they enjoyed it. I was gonna say if they didn’t like this episode then they never liked GoT in the first place haha. Winds of Winter is such a satisfying, epic episode of television.
Yup. Imo, it's probably in the top 2 greatest season finally's in a TV series ever. It just had so much suspense and twists in there it's unbelievable. I was shaking after I saw this episode for the first time. I always shread a damn tear at that John reveal, even after seeing it dozens of times already. I think the episode is currently sitting at a 9.9/10 on IMBD.
Oh, I'm sooo happy they enjoyed this episode! My heart really almost explodes with joy and excitement when I watch peoples' reaction videos to this episode (including your friends' reaction). I think Littlefinger's motivation was more than just wanting to sleep with Sansa. He has the knights of the Vale at his command, but that's not enough to rule Westeros. I think he did it because it could garner him favor with the northern lords, facilitating his plots and sneakery. Hell, his apparent infatuation with Sansa might actually be a ruse to help hide his true motivation. It's just too bad the writing steered Baelish into a corner over the last two seasons. Same goes for Varys, the anti-Littlefinger. Thanks for all the hard work Sheri! Thanks for sharing your viewing experience, nameless ones! Might you have plans to do a follow-up/ review video with the nameless couple after they finish 7 and 8? It would be interesting to hear Mr. Wiggles' exasperation, and the wife's heroic attempts to find something nice to say about it before bursting with laughter.
They needed to go back to ferry 100000 Dothraki and their horses, plus 8000 Unsullied. Even with the Greyjoy ships and what was left of the Masters’ fleet, Daenerys needed more ships to cross the Narrow Sea with her armies. That’s why Varys went back with the Tyrell and Dornish armada.
“Jon Snow avenged the Red Wedding!” I love this line as an example of selective history. We know that it was avenged by Tyrion, Arya, Ramsay, and Sansa, but Jon is a sort of banner the North can rally behind, being Ned’s son (they think), a strong fighter, a leader in line with what they can accept. So, they skew the tale, believe their own fiction, state it as truth, and weave it into their history.
Ramsey avenged the red wedding?!?!? his father helped orchestrate it in order to take Winterfell and control of the North. He did nothing to avenge it. Also, Jon led the fight against the Boltons and nearly died doing so while Sansa wrote secret letters and watched from her horse. Yes Sansa played a critical role in gaining back Winterfell but Jon was in the middle of it putting his life on the line to defeat the Boltons so I wouldn't call him just a banner the North can rally behind.
A Dance with Dragons - Davos III One of the Freys stepped forward, a knight long and lean of limb, clean-shaved but for a grey mustache as thin as a Myrish stiletto. "The Red Wedding was the Young Wolf's work. He changed into a beast before our eyes and tore out the throat of my cousin Jinglebell, a harmless simpleton. He would have slain my lord father too, if Ser Wendel had not put himself in the way." Lord Wyman blinked back tears. "Wendel was always a brave boy. I was not surprised to learn he died a hero." The enormity of the lie made Davos gasp. "Is it your claim that Robb Stark killed Wendel Manderly?" he asked the Frey. "And many more. Mine own son Tytos was amongst them, and my daughter's husband. When Stark changed into a wolf, his northmen did the same. The mark of the beast was on them all. Wargs birth other wargs with a bite, it is well-known. It was all my brothers and I could do to put them down before they slew us all." A Dance with Dragons - Davos III ( I was so HOPING Wylla's quote be in the show ) "Hush, child," said Lady Leona. "You heard your lord grandfather. Hush! You know nothing." "I know about the promise," insisted the girl. "Maester Theomore, tell them! A thousand years before the Conquest, a promise was made, and oaths were sworn in the Wolf's Den before the old gods and the new. When we were sore beset and friendless, hounded from our homes and in peril of our lives, the wolves took us in and nourished us and protected us against our enemies. The city is built upon the land they gave us. In return we swore that we should always be their men. Stark men!" The maester fingered the chain about his neck. "Solemn oaths were sworn to the Starks of Winterfell, aye. But Winterfell has fallen and House Stark has been extinguished." "Ramsay Snow," Wylla Manderly threw back. "Have it as you will. By any name, he shall soon be wed to Arya Stark. If you would keep faith with your promise, give him your allegiance, for he shall be your Lord of Winterfell." "He won't ever be my lord! He made Lady Hornwood marry him, then shut her in a dungeon and made her eat her fingers." A Dance with Dragons - Davos IV "I hope so. You have sons of your own, you said." Three, thought Davos, though I fathered seven. "Soon I must return to the feast to toast my friends of Frey," Manderly continued. "They watch me, ser. Day and night their eyes are on me, noses sniffing for some whiff of treachery. You saw them, the arrogant Ser Jared and his nephew Rhaegar, that smirking worm who wears a dragon's name. Behind them both stands Symond, clinking coins. That one has bought and paid for several of my servants and two of my knights. One of his wife's handmaids has found her way into the bed of my own fool. If Stannis wonders that my letters say so little, it is because I dare not even trust my maester. Theomore is all head and no heart. You heard him in my hall. Maesters are supposed to put aside old loyalties when they don their chains, but I cannot forget that Theomore was born a Lannister of Lannisport and claims some distant kinship to the Lannisters of Casterly Rock. Foes and false friends are all around me, Lord Davos. They infest my city like roaches, and at night I feel them crawling over me." The fat man's fingers coiled into a fist, and all his chins trembled. "My son Wendel came to the Twins a guest. He ate Lord Walder's bread and salt, and hung his sword upon the wall to feast with friends. And they murdered him. Murdered, I say, and may the Freys choke upon their fables. I drink with Jared, jape with Symond, promise Rhaegar the hand of my own beloved granddaughter … but never think that means I have forgotten. The north remembers, Lord Davos. The north remembers, and the mummer's farce is almost done. My son is home." "And now, my lord?" asked Davos. He had hoped to hear Lord Wyman say, And now I shall declare for King Stannis, but instead the fat man smiled an odd, twinkling smile and said, "And now I have a wedding to attend. I am too fat to sit a horse, as any man with eyes can plainly see. As a boy I loved to ride, and as a young man I handled a mount well enough to win some small acclaim in the lists, but those days are done. My body has become a prison more dire than the Wolf's Den. Even so, I must go to Winterfell. Roose Bolton wants me on my knees, and beneath the velvet courtesy he shows the iron mail. I shall go by barge and litter, attended by a hundred knights and my good friends from the Twins. The Freys came here by sea. They have no horses with them, so I shall present each of them with a palfrey as a guest gift. Do hosts still give guest gifts in the south?" "Some do, my lord. On the day their guest departs." A Dance with Dragons - The Prince of Winterfell The Lord of White Harbor had furnished the food and drink, black stout and yellow beer and wines red and gold and purple, brought up from the warm south on fat-bottomed ships and aged in his deep cellars. The wedding guests gorged on cod cakes and winter squash, hills of neeps and great round wheels of cheese, on smoking slabs of mutton and beef ribs charred almost black, and lastly on three great wedding pies, as wide across as wagon wheels, their flaky crusts stuffed to bursting with carrots, onions, turnips, parsnips, mushrooms, and chunks of seasoned pork swimming in a savory brown gravy. Ramsay hacked off slices with his falchion and Wyman Manderly himself served, presenting the first steaming portions to Roose Bolton and his fat Frey wife, the next to Ser Hosteen and Ser Aenys, the sons of Walder Frey. "The best pie you have ever tasted, my lords," the fat lord declared. "Wash it down with Arbor gold and savor every bite. I know I shall." True to his word, Manderly devoured six portions, two from each of the three pies, smacking his lips and slapping his belly and stuffing himself until the front of his tunic was half-brown with gravy stains and his beard was flecked with crumbs of crust. Even Fat Walda Frey could not match his gluttony, though she did manage three slices herself. Ramsay ate heartily as well, though his pale bride did no more than stare at the portion set before her. When she raised her head and looked at Theon, he could see the fear behind her big brown eyes. No longswords had been allowed within the hall, but every man there wore a dagger, even Theon Greyjoy. How else to cut his meat? Every time he looked at the girl who had been Jeyne Poole, he felt the presence of that steel at his side. I have no way to save her, he thought, but I could kill her easy enough. No one would expect it. I could beg her for the honor of a dance and cut her throat. That would be a kindness, wouldn't it? And if the old gods hear my prayer, Ramsay in his wroth might strike me dead as well. Theon was not afraid to die. Underneath the Dreadfort, he had learned there were far worse things than death. Ramsay had taught him that lesson, finger by finger and toe by toe, and it was not one that he was ever like to forget. "No." Eating was hard for him. Ramsay had left him with so many broken teeth that chewing was an agony. Drinking was easier, though he had to grasp the wine cup with both hands to keep from dropping it. "No taste for pork pie, my lord? The best pork pie we ever tasted, our fat friend would have us believe." She gestured toward Lord Manderly with her wine cup. "Have you ever seen a fat man so happy? He is almost dancing. Serving with his own hands." It was true. The Lord of White Harbor was the very picture of the jolly fat man, laughing and smiling, japing with the other lords and slapping them on the back, calling out to the musicians for this tune or that tune. "Give us 'The Night That Ended,' singer," he bellowed. "The bride will like that one, I know. Or sing to us of brave young Danny Flint and make us weep." To look at him, you would have thought that he was the one newly wed.
I believe this is my first time commenting on your channel but I just wanted to say it’s been a pleasure accompanying you on your journey. I wish you all the best.
Did you point out to the nameless couple the astrolabe in the citadel library and it's similarity to the opening titles? I always thought that was so cool. The library with all it's books represents the sum total of human knowledge which is, in effect, "the world". And the map from the opening titles is a map of "the world". The contraption in the library appears to be reflecting sunlight through lenses onto different parts of the library, focusing on different "stories". Just like how the entire story focuses of different parts of the world as shown by the map in the opening.
Really wish you guys would reconsider doing season 7. It's not nearly as controversial as season 8, and there are a lot of really great moments. That said, I totally understand your decision and wish all of you the best.
It would have been nice to see the couples reaction to the first scene of the next episode S7-E1 since they didn't know it was Arya in a face mask just before she killed Walter Fray.
I’m pretty sure the reactors don’t read these but I would tell them to save their hopes and tell them to stop watching. This was the end. The ultimate episode and a story that would never reach this height ever again. I pity them here in this moment but long for the sadness to come.
Smh you cut out the coronation of our first queen 😭😭😭. Unacceptable! Jon's proclamation with Sansa sitting on the side was a callback to season 1 with Robb and Catelyn being decalred King in the North, the first Northern King since the Targeryan conquest. Just think what would've happened if Jon had run away to war with Robb back then.
enjoy it while it lasts, it gets worse from here on.........I mean just watching this, I just realised what ws the point in Ned being able to hear Bran calling him......did we ever find out??
I think it was there to demonstrate that Bran actually COULD affect the past. Between that and the worried response given by the previous raven, it seems Bran runs the risk of mucking things up, or abusing his power. In "The Door", we discover that Bran can indeed affect the past, and since the three-eyed raven's specialty is basically being a human internet, its fair to assume he knows of the potential for disaster. At the time, I thought there was going to be some type of conflict from Bran being young and suddenly having extraordinary power. The show seemed to be suggesting there would be more to the three-eyed raven storyline, but alas, it basically fizzled by the end of season six.
Called it?! CALLED IT?!!! You were just spouting random guesses! Lol You didn't even know who Lyanna was hahaha yeah, you "called it"... you totally figured it out... smh lol

"See you later" sounds good, Marylin!
Well, actually, I think Dany went west and joined with Varys and the Dornish armada outside Westeros. No reason for him to go back.
I think more time went by because Dani needed all the ships to carry the unsullied and the Dothraki. Just my opinion.
“Jon Snow avenged the Red Wedding!”
I love this line as an example of selective history.
How did Tyrion avenge the red wedding?!
@@lynnjohanssen6552 He killed Tywin
Jon didn't do shit he would've been dead if it weren't for sansa.
A Dance with Dragons - Davos III
One of the Freys stepped forward, a knight long and lean of limb, clean-shaved but for a grey mustache as thin as a Myrish stiletto. "The Red Wedding was the Young Wolf's work. He changed into a beast before our eyes and tore out the throat of my cousin Jinglebell, a harmless simpleton. He would have slain my lord father too, if Ser Wendel had not put himself in the way."
Lord Wyman blinked back tears. "Wendel was always a brave boy. I was not surprised to learn he died a hero."
The enormity of the lie made Davos gasp.
It was all my brothers and I could do to put them down before they slew us all."
A Dance with Dragons - Davos III ( I was so HOPING Wylla's quote be in the show )
"Hush, child," said Lady Leona. "You heard your lord grandfather. Hush! You know nothing."
"I know about the promise," insisted the girl. Stark men!"
The maester fingered the chain about his neck. "Solemn oaths were sworn to the Starks of Winterfell, aye. But Winterfell has fallen and House Stark has been extinguished."
"Ramsay Snow," Wylla Manderly threw back.
"Have it as you will. By any name, he shall soon be wed to Arya Stark. If you would keep faith with your promise, give him your allegiance, for he shall be your Lord of Winterfell."
"He won't ever be my lord! He made Lady Hornwood marry him, then shut her in a dungeon and made her eat her fingers."
A Dance with Dragons - Davos IV
"I hope so. You have sons of your own, you said."
Three, thought Davos, though I fathered seven.
My son is home."
"And now, my lord?" asked Davos.
Do hosts still give guest gifts in the south?"
"Some do, my lord. On the day their guest departs."
A Dance with Dragons - The Prince of Winterfell
The Lord of White Harbor had furnished the food and drink, black stout and yellow beer and wines red and gold and purple, brought up from the warm south on fat-bottomed ships and aged in his deep cellars. I know I shall."
True to his word, Manderly devoured six portions, two from each of the three pies, smacking his lips and slapping his belly and stuffing himself until the front of his tunic was half-brown with gravy stains and his beard was flecked with crumbs of crust.
Serving with his own hands."
It was true.
Really enjoyed the series thank you hope are doing well
During Fray scene around :30 "Who is She?" Me: "No one."
...And now their watch is ended. ❤️
I believe this is my first time commenting on your channel but I just wanted to say it’s been a pleasure accompanying you on your journey. I wish you all the best.
😂 "Son Pie" 👏
Nice foot 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂💛
Their dislike of Bran gives me LIFE
8:27 Jon: The King in the North? I don't want it.
Best season finale in the series
Also, thank you!
If stories are true, then the last few generations of Starks are already of the Matriarchy line ( Bale the Bard and a then, Princess / Lady Stark ).
Eric Colacino you must be fun at parties.
Am that friend the one who would help you hide a dead body ,but in case you cross me remember I know where to hide a dead body 👌😂💛
And now you rest, Sheri.
... it is over 😪
Sesīr Urnēbion Zȳhon Keliton Issa.
Bye for now have enjoyed the series thanks.
Oh come on, now I wanna see their reaction for season 7&8, you can't just disappear now (actually you can and you did, but still) :-)
How could it be Sansa's, she wasn't yet born.
Bran is looking into the past ( baby Jon ), present and future ( wildfire ).
enjoy it while it lasts, it gets worse from here on.........I mean just watching this, I just realised what ws the point in Ned being able to hear Bran calling him......did we ever find out??
Hodor
@5:56 Game of Toes.
the last great episode of got except season 7 ep 4
barrrrffff
Cersei killed her cousin Lancel also, by Wildfire.
It was an accident.
when they watch season 7 and 8
have them watch. Daenerys Targaryen: The last dragon. by zurik 23m
Just a quick question, but will the nameless couple finish 7 n 8 on their own?
Yes. They've already watched 7 and we'll make a video (or two) for them to share their thoughts on 7 and 8.
After seeing Season 7 & 8 GoT could of ended after this finale
Likely to be a matriarchy 😂
Calling something as the scene is happening doesn't make it bad writing lmao You said it was Sansa after you guessed Snow.
