Boston Whalers, 15.6 to 18 foot-- The best boat (if you can find one) out there for Bay, or good weather days on the Sea. I work with boats & fish recreation-ally, & there is nothing better in these sizes mentioned above. (if you have one, never let it go ;) Cheers
I get so wrapped up in watching I never make it out to fish anymore. Lol. Great show, when my boat gets older I will gladly drive it from Texas to yall for a make over.
This is the funniest episode yet!! Awesome blueprint, awesome side note about how to use a spray can. The guys in the shop are freaking hilarious! NEVER stop making this show! Also, where can we buy Project Dreamboat tshirts?
Pretty sure they're soft rubber/plastic spikes to stop the coils of fly line falling off the deck into the water. Easier to cast a fly if the line is dry and not caught up under the bow of the boat
The Shamrock is a pretty cool hull. I know the inboard repower is something new but a bracket and a new Yamaha would have been pretty cool on that boat…
I'm a big outboard guy, every boat I own or have owned has been outboard. I still think they made the right choice leaving the Shamrock an inboard. A 20'ish center console with an outboard is a dime a dozen. The Shamrock is something you rarely see, thus keep it an inboard. They did a good job on it.
Love this show. Absolutely love it!!!! Can I make a career change at 48 and find me a job doing what the guys at MCU do? On a side note, please tell me those 302 exhaust manifolds were cracked or not useable. To see them tossed on the ground made me cringe. I'm assuming they were junk. Oh, you need to find a way to make this a daily show (haaaaaaa.) The anticipation on waiting for updates is killing me. Would love to hear how the stereo sounds when you guys do the next update of the Whaler. Again, awesome show!!!!!
steven unrue most full Dreamboat builds last 3 to 4 episodes, we don't just fly through builds, we show the details! From derigging, to painting, to rigging electronics and upholstery. Hard to accomplish that in just a episode or two! Enjoy!

ON THE SHAMROCK throw all that garbage out. Bracket new Yamaha on the back and she's dependable enough to go to bimini. Plus that inboard will vibrate and make a ton of noise total crap.
$10 grand for a motor... Fucking RIP off lmao Not to mention those $10 POS china LED's are going to shit out in a year.. tops. I know because I've bought 4 sets for different small project shit. They fucking suck.
Project Dreamboat Series needs to come back.. The people need it!
Ah man just rewatching, That was a fun build and loved when we did the interview
love this show. Great job guys.
Had fun filming that one
Excited you got a Shamrock, looking forward to it.

This show seems to be turning into a reality TV show
these guys are definitely rehearsing
Yep.....when directors and producers who have no interest in the actual subject matter or the craft get involved they invariably ruin the series

Thank you Rob!!! They are a blast to work with. We don't have shirts yet, but can certainly look into it!
Well, I know you guys are developing quite a following. Sign me up for an XXL hoodie!
What were those spikes on the front of that 17' skiff?

We agree, but the inboard with a closed transom sure does look classy...

Love the InfoWars hat
The old shows seem better than the new ones
Did he say that the motor on the Boston whaler was a f-150

wish I could afford you guys to restore my nitro bay 1800..
You do great work!!
10k for a small block ford engine?
EXACTLY! 2k tops + 2k install if you're greedy. Charge 5k to redo the console and you're still under 10k
Yes that’s really what they cost
Lol that dude got totally taken for 10k I would have bought a Cummings 4bta and still been under his budget
Good vid
really dragging out the whaler build huh?

Tight lines
Are you Really dragging the whaler project into 3 different episodes? Show us the finish project already
