IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad is the continuation of the legendary IL-2 Sturmovik series that has set the standard for PC combat flight games for more than ten years. Unique and detailed damage model lets you use the pros and cons of various aircraft and tanks to your advantage.
Adjust the tank aiming sights for distance and view the tank interior just as a plane cockpit!
LEARN:
Action takes place on a 358 х 230 km map - The largest and most detailed recreation of the Battle of Stalingrad theatre ever modeled in a flight simulation with unique structures, buildings and landscapes.
Single-Player Campaign scenario follows the real chronology of the battle starting with Operation Uranus on November 19th, 1942 and continues to the complete liberation of the city on February 2nd, 1943.
Ten Legendary aircraft of the era have been thoroughly re-created using original drawings and blueprints from the Central archive of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Precise simulation of the flight model allows everyone to learn the special character and limits of each and every plane in the game. Use each of their special abilities and performance characteristics to complete your mission and survive the brutal fight.

I agree with countless others here Taff, we NEED the 262 in a career !!! I also wanna state that the First video of yours that I watched was Rise of Flight, and now that IL-2 has the 1917-18 timeline I’d LOVE to see more WWI birds !
Great Stuff. when the 262 entered service the Germans must've been SO annoyed that the FW190 had already claimed the nickname "Butcher Bird". Despite the problems with, and vulnerabilities of the engines, this thing was a revolutionary step forwards.

This was utterly excellent taff, the old 262A is a legend. Had countless hours of fun with this bird myself.. but.. seems to lack a bit for me.. when I haven't got enemy aircraft on equal footing to take on.. regardless.. still had hours of fun with this on bomber interception and ground attack, as well as obliterating allied fighters. 30mm cannons and a stunning shape to match, this would be great for a future series. Great special.. really.. this was great.. thanks for posting this on mate 👍

This is kind of like one of Adolf Galland's engagements. Besides the Me-262 is one of my favourite German aircraft
Although jet engines were still in their infancy they still made for impressive speeds for that time period and the 262 has such beautifull lines, soft on the eyes,your flying and shooting is 'experten' level!
Taff, you should try and practice crossing and intersecting shots. It will save time on you trying to get on the enemies six.
Why not B-24s and B-17s...!? IL-2 team must know everyone wants them...
We were very lucky Nazi Germany didn't decide it needed this aircraft until it was too late.
Tempest V's the Typhoon's Hispano 20mm cannons stuck out from the wing that is the easiest way to tell the two from each other, The other thing is Tempest had an all metal rudder the Tiffy was wood and fabric just like the Hurricane.

After war after retirement he received 80€ French school apprntcship reimbursement.
Even up to... 100€ after revaluation (inflation).
100€ is cool 2 get in Poland even today (1/5th min ret).

Brilliant video, my IL2 days are long behind me, my reflexs have gone with age but still like watch others fly.
Doesn’t mean that you can’t go back and take the time to relearn the basics and try again! If you love something enough it’s always worth the effort
@@marshmellodog : Actually, the best thing for old IL-2 pilots to do is go back and fly the WW1 biplanes, and not the WW2 monoplanes. Slower planes means slower targets, so slower reflexes will be good enough.
@@timonsolus That would be true to at least start off with if Paul has the DLCs for that. It was just my 2 cents on his comment as one shouldn't think negatively due to old age or said reflexes. You lose skills if you don't use them, young or old.
The ground crew are going to love pulling all that grass out of the engines🤣.
I know it’s a game, but the NPCs were all flown by amateurs. Nice day for you, but unrealistic.

I wish WT had this kind of realism , there you can't pull with props and the 30mm have a ballistic trajectory like Hans would throw a rock . You can only dream of sniping .
You have simulation mode in wt but if you are confident enough to try why not just go for better experience like dcs or il2 directly.
@@robertkalinic335 I need a 3rd person view , I'm getting sick after some time . VR kills me in a few seconds . 😅
@@5co756 You dont need vr, i dont have one either. Believe me trying out first person view is worth it, biggest pain in the ass was to set up the controls.

@@5co756 Idk how do you play with cockpit view but like i said, the controls, if you move pilot head position, use zoom, saved camera snap positions...it will work.
I am speaking about il 2 bos whole time, not wt so bear that in mind.

Why don’t the bomber gunners actually work/aim?
You never ran out of fuel or ammo amazing and not one tempest fort back amazing .
Must be boring against the AI!!!! you should fly against real people. Only watched 4 minutes and got bored
