While some of these selections had been recorded and released on LPs prior and following to these broadcasts, some of these selections are the only available recorded versions of these pieces by Julian Bream.”
Guitar solo has its limits if you compare it with piano or organ. But in duo you have the same counterpoint and harmonic opportunities. Ad the best Julian and John and it doesn't get better.

guitar duo should be a more common thing. composers should compose for it
Was this originally recorded on their live album? And, any ideas whether they recorded JW's Brahms transcription, and if so, is it around?
I"m surprised that in Testament album are all 4 movements ! I know only first movement Allegro con brio
