I've been obsessed with NMixx this year. I'm so proud to see the girls success with this comeback

Nathan, or any KPop blogger or reactor…To me all reactors act too cocky verses the other K-pop fans or reactors, and it’s 100% due to their popularity , and to believe they deserve all the attention. Unfortunately the K-pop community is a joke and they give these people who react way too much attention. All of Nathan’s views or JreKML should go to the artists they’re reacting too. Why give a guys or gals personal opinion that much credibility?
Many of them are corny and not really talented. They try out rapping and singing but it's never in truly Korean or good. Their only pros are to react and report gossip or news about K-Pop. I've heard that when many newcomers become reactors or K-pop content creators the old reactors give them hardcore dislike vibes unless they feel they can feed off their success. If you talk to them you’re only interested in self promotions.
It's a horrible idea to watch a reactor gain views and success from silly fans who hold them valuable than the artist music video, but at times that has happen, and their opinions can even hurt some artist success as they influence a lot too. So he probably just say there all good.
They are credits actually and should I guess be paid only if they hold credentials like popular reactors ; Tyrone Magnus he's is a director/ producer, CinePals and etc. Otherwise their opinions are quite useless. They don't have any music degrees or real relevance!
Honestly dash has been the number one song on my Spotify On Repeat playlist since its release. (On repeat is basically the most streamed recent 30 songs listed in automatically by Spotify)
BTW Idle has 3 songs now charting in top100 (super lady, wife and fate)

@@hellhound1505 It's crazy how they went from Cube giving them a ultimatum that they release a hit or it's the end after Soojin; to 4 #1 hit releases in a row and the most success they ever had.
Revenge should get into the list as well.
3 songs charting in top 20 and wife and super lady peaked under top 10….queencard is still in top 25…fate is also going to top 10 soon…so if we count all then they have 4 songs under top 30….
(G)I-DLE deserves to be on the top of the mountain
The b-sides are all fun and grow on you. Revenge or Fate could be a title track for any other group.

Honestly Untouchable and Dash were my songs of the month. I've listened to their albums non-stop
I was not an ITZY fan whatsoever but this comeback got me into them, i think the new sound is great and what they needed. i think it'll take a bit for this "girl crush" thing theyre going for it seems but i think it fits them perfectly

I will say nmixx has impressed me with their music this year so far and even got my bf to stand them after listening to dash lol i feel like their vocals really shined thru combined with the choreo and visuals

NMIXX released an amazing album, with an amazing title track, a cool MV and great music show performances as always. They deserve all the love they're getting :)
About ITZY, I actually really liked this album and Untouchable and Mr. Vampire are very good tracks. I think those who say that they're not making as good music as before are simply not listening to it. Even Checkmate; people hated Sneakers, but the album as a whole was actually pretty good. I'm not even a midzy, but I have enjoyed their last two albums a lot and people should stop having the preconceived idea that they're on a downfall and actually give a listen.
Oh and Super Lady and Revenge have been on replay on my playlist because SO GOOD!
For me, everything itzy released this comeback was a top teir product, aside from chae's solo, it wasn't really my thing

@@vixxexo6855And Kpop is just black American music with beautiful Asian People if we want to be REAL technical with it especially since it was based on Motown training and Hip Hop /R&B sounds that a lot of the group implement today.
With that being said, I recall JYP saying this is a GLOBAL KPOP GROUP several times on the show so based on that, THEY ARE A KPOP GROUP period. Let's stop gatekeeping because they are American. Black Swan don't have an Korean member but they are Kpop also isn't there a boy group full of white guys who are Kpop artists. What is considered Kpop? Is it the sound, is it ethnicity/nationality, or is it the systems and processes along with execution and presentation that make these groups and artists who they are?
VCHA, KATSEYE, BLACK SWAN are Kpop.

I love I-DLE’s Super Lady. Western audience seem to like it but Koreans not so much. Also, it didn’t do as well on the charts as I-DLE’s previous title tracks because:
1) it wasn’t promoted much once it was released (eg 3 of the 5 members experienced health conditions) and
2) IU had her comeback at the same time as I-DLE (IU’s comeback started a few days before I-DLE’s)

All Night was an odd choice; Cover of an Annoying ear-worm from 2013 (I work in a nightclub, and remember being annoyed from it the 1st time around), Leeseo gets no lines, so over-produced that you can barely tell who sings what, *but* it has one thing going for it.
Having just seen them in Oakland (And it was a really hard decision not to go to Vegas to see Twice for a 6th time, as they are my Ults), I can say that using it as their final song, with the fake-out "It's over... no it's not!!!" 3 or 4 times was hilarious. Right as fans were all walking up & put, they run back on stage & it starts up again. 🤣🤣🤣 It was absolutely hilarious & awesome.

The difference in the big4 when it comes to music is just funny:
SM & JYP - makes real music with og song structure & isn't afraid of going longer as long as it highlights the groups concept.
YG & HYBE - makes music for the sake of virality. Always chasing the trends & trying so hard to enter the western market.

Sorry I don’t understand your comment of cube. Gidle is the sole reason that company still hasn’t failed and to say that they have no professional and credible musicians and composers is just straight up a disrespect. Soyeon has written masterpieces like lion and oh my god, and while her recent music isnt as deep as oreviously, all of her songs still hold a meaning. She is definately not mid and is more than a decent songwriter and composer(many of her songs have been perfect all kills and charting releases.) Besides that, every memeber is a great singer and performer, and im not only talking about gidle, the company has many other groups and musicians that have been with them in the past that are fantastic idols. Sorry if I came off as rude, its just dishartening to see people negate the efforts of a group that puts all they have in their craft.

Let's be honest, IVE get a spot because you have to keep their stans happy because you know that if they get pissed off you lose their views. With that in mind, how is any opinion that you voice worth anything? You are just in the business of fanservice.
Small groups released better songs than both IVE and Aespa this month, but, hey, you do you. Gotta play to the numbers I guess.
I think it’s less about the song and his enjoyment of it, but more of how much of an impact the group made for the month. He kept talking about their positions on music charts, how much buzz they’ve created within that month, how much they’re selling album wise. I think the mountain expresses more of who will be group of the year overall, especially since he keeps mentioning if (G)I-DLE will keep that spot next month. IVE is going to be on there popularity alone, but the fact they had a western collab this month gave them that position on the mountain (even if he and others weren’t big fans of it). Aespa probably in the same vein. Since they aren’t full comebacks, they weren’t going to be high on there. But that’s my analysis of this segment
I guess I should have explained the meaning of the mountain more. It's to rank the overall performace of a group who released a song this month. Imagine like power rankings for K-pop
