PlumBest Spray Weld Product Review

Product Review of PlumBest Spray Weld.
The more I study this product the more I like it.
This is one reason I give this product a 5 star rating. For homeowners that seldom join PVC pipe it is even more of an advantage to have a sealed spray can. Once the technique of intermittently tapping the spray nozzle to apply the solvent is mastered this seems to be cleaner than the older drippy dauber method. If the pipe is larger, like 2” or more, this spray method is not only neater, but faster.
Personally I would use the clear solvent/primer Spray Weld product before the blue/purple spray because it looks neater. But, one needs to see where the spray has contacted the pipe and if all the surface needing solvent, has solvent.

I just used the same can I used in the test review today, (March 15 2024), it still sprays and works ! This is beyond amazing, it is something I would have said impossible. The can was many years old , 5 years ago!

I haven't seen that product in my local store but I certainly plan to look for it. I hate to have full cans of cement go bad, but that is always how it goes for me. Thanks for this information.

Incidentally, this spray solvent is cleaner to use than I thought. When I took this stuff of the shelf, I found the packing slip from when I got it, April 24th. 2012 ! Then when I used the unused can and it worked perfect, I was amazed. I think the larger the pipe and fittings, the easier it will be to use, faster too, and the dauber type application is drippy so a spray could be much cleaner.

Think I will stick to the glue in the can; the spray seems to take longer and you have to wear gloves.
