I honestly think this is one of the best transformers you've made, and that's saying something! That robot mode is all it needs to be great, but the car mode somehow manages to come out as smooth and well-rounded if not moreso than official Lego cars and at this scale

This is the perfect g1/evergreen barricade. I'd imagine Barricade and Crowm could be rivals with Soundwave and Lazerbeak, constantly competing for Megatron's approval.
I think this might just be the best one yet in this new scale you've been trying out recently. The proportions look great and the transformation is fantastic, I also really like the colors and the way that dark blue apears when in robot mode, really amazing 👏
I need to gush about this. On concept alone this is already a masterpiece. G1 movie bots is all I ever wanted from Legacy, something they still haven’t delivered on yet. It frustrates me to no end since I adored the movies as a child and became a bit of a geewunner after that. Speaking of geewunner, you are correct I hate those thighs. It’s not a 1980s Japanese robot without those skinny kibble-less thighs. Having those be in lavender would have worked wonders if I’m to guess. On the alt-mode, I really appreciate the attempt of a 1969 Mustang, and double appreciate the fact that you’re giving respect to the original car while presumably not a car guy. Personally I’ve always imagined G1 Barricade as the 1973 model, because that Mustang actually served as a police car in the Japanese police force once upon a time. One last thing, I love the idea of beast targetmasters. We’ve had beast headmasters, so what’s wrong with this? Overall, this is friggin’ awesome. You’re so right, Barricade is so much more than a lazy Fairlady repaint. I’m so disappointed that was all he got in War for Cybertron.

I always liked the huge boot shins since these are absolute units of robots and kinda need those massive stompers to stay upright. Any smaller cybertronians I think should have them to keep the species looking consistent. That and it’s just the 80’s robot style, I’m just biased I love that aesthetic so much.
I like the bigger scale ones; I really like the little ones too don’t get me wrong, but much like Lego’s very own speed champions brand the size upgrade allowed them to pack in more detail, make them way more accurate, and was overall a great improvement to the brand. Love this newer style!
Barricade actually used to be part of this obscure Decepticon racer team in G1, but I definitely love the new life he's taken on better. Most versions of a G1 interpretation of his movie design opt for a Prowl repaint, but I like you keeping the movie aesthetic
I think simple "boring" transformations fit G1 styles perfectly. G1 designs are simple, therefore it makes sense that the transformations are also simple.
I love this design for barricade. The black blue and white work really well and the Thunder thighs work too. Bro never skips leg day. The head sculpt is perfect too. The clip bar for the head crest is awesome! ☺️

Looking at Crowme's Targetmaster form, I imagine it's some kind of one-handed, quad-barrel sawn-off shotgun. I think that fits the *corrupt police* motif well too as whenever you see a cop in fiction with a gun larger than their standard sidearm, it's probably a shotgun. And apparently the sawn-off variety in particular is sometimes used by SWAT team members. The only way it could fit better is if the Targetmaster could somehow be a dog instead of a bird.
I love this barricade! Also there was a design of g1 barricade in War For Cybertron Cartoon and it uses some of the colors of your barricade. Also Can You Try To Make A Space shuttle Transformer and name it Apollo?

Love the color choices to include the dark blue and lavender accents on the robot mode. I don't know if you're going to get door decals for him that match his appearance in the film, but let's just say I'd let him make good on his oath whenever he likes.

It looks amazing in both modes and has a transformation I could see happening on a real deluxe. I absolutely adore Chrome! He's adorable! I love the idea of a big evil decepticon having a little pet that he cares about, it's part of why I love Soundwave so much. As for frenzy, since you're doing G1 styled movie stuff a G1 movie frenzy would actually be really cool! The original Frenzy was literally impossible, but when you're doing blockier G1 stuff it's entirely possible.
This is a MASTERPEICE and i wanna make it but i cant get the instructions cause im broke and cant join patreon so will ya do a instructions video or something for those who wants to build it?
I think what I’d really love to see is a tutorial on how to make these because there a great size look and form but it’s a lot harder then you think to watch the video and take hours blocking the wrong and right pieces out and then having to carefully watch the video to find out where what goes.
Honestly I’d love if barricade came back in the new movies as a true rival to bumble bee since he is the only decepticon to actually survive till the end
The only thing I think can be improved on this design are the curves over the rare wheels (rear wing/fender/quarter panel), they seems a bit low. Looking at the transformation and the robot mode it seems that raising them won't cause much trouble, personally I would add one or two more layers of blocks on that curve (and the thighs will be even thicker)
Barricades Head reminds me of Tfp Soundwave. I'm actually wondering what G1 Soundwaves Head will look like if you build him. Even Chrome reminds me of Dotm Laserbeak.
Wish he’d have been better utilized in the films. Heck I wish literally any Decepticon was better used. Heck literally any character; just saw Rise of the Beasts, and while it’s handling of the characters was better, I still don’t feel like they all made an impact.
He looks great, though I feel like he’s almost too detailed/out there in body structure, especially with the way the legs kinda bend for the g1 aesthetic
Generally I'm playing fast and loose with the G1 aesthetic. I think it's easy to follow the rules too close to the letter and end up with something really boring (earth rise bulkhead) so I'm intentionally pushing things.
Ayo, imagine how G1 styled Movie Blackout would look. I would love Legacy to tackle that idea.
