First of all we didn't oppose when Kalyan Choubey was appointed, and here we go!! Bhaichung bhutia was on the list but most of your indian football fan consider him as outsider. There was no support when he really wanted to step up to do something good for Indian football after his retirement. Make sure all of you blame yourself before blaming Indian football management now. I am a huge fan of cricket but seriously when I started watching igor stimac as a manager of Indian football team I seriously started watching Indian football just because of igor stimac and chettri but sad to say our as usual gov influence and billionaire business family members involvement in this federation and mostly influencing and involvement in other sports federation as well destroyed sports in our country it sad to see our athletes facing such issues.

I grew up in a football culture and family in India. Let me just put up a bitter fact about this, no matter how we summarise this and blame each other, the players are eager for PSU job positions, the middle management in the fed is all about putting their relatives in jobs, the top management is about securing as much as wealth they can secure during there tenure. What a shame. They talent seems to fade away as soon as the player is taken from the grassroot and enter the black hole of Indian club football.

This is crazy! The situation is so bad with most of the sports. So many talented sportsmen but no support. The govt just takes the taxes n uses it for their interest.

We definitely have improved under Igor Stimac but we still lack in a lot of departments. It is clearly visible that he wasn't given enough resources to work with. Our players aren't good enough. A lot has to change. Players are happy playing in the ISL. They are making money but not improving at all. And then there's politics which has always been there. Like ranjit mentioned we need players playing in better leagues. That's what needs to happen.

Indian football is growing too slow compared to other football developing countries . Govt is not interested in football and the aiff is doing dump things. Without appoint a good foreign coach in under 14 to 23 Indian team no good player got in senior team so first appoint a good foreign coach in different age group and bear the salary of those coach then after when those junior graduate to senior in 4 to 5 years Indian team got full technical sound players in senior natinal team so now appoint a Indian coach for senior team as they have no capacity to produce good result so it is foolish to appoint a good coach for senior team and if the juniors have no technical ability to play good football as not learn from a good foreign coach so AIFF to appoint a foreign coach for juniors and a Indian coach for seniors and spent money on juniors to get good result ok

There is a need for serious overhaul in AIFF. The coa's constitution has to be implemented and the bureaucracy has to be sorted out by legal force.
Even after so many years of ISL, still not a full-fledged league, still no serious league structure, no serious state leagues with tier systems no ground work in the youth system and so much more.
