I love Bob D, Van M, Leonard C, James T, Townes VZ, John P and a whole bunch of others but for me no one writes such incredible lines and tunes and does it so well in so many different genres from hillbilly to grunge as NY does. Truely legendary status.

Well said, somebody knew Neil was needed in this world, and he has helped so many get through it!! I’m so glad I was exposed to his music back in high school. Why do I never get tired of listening to him, Nice way to escape from this crazy world we are now dealing with. A little Neil for me every day or so helps.

Rotterdam, Netherlands 1989 toured solo acoustic. I used to own the whole concert on cassette.
I had the concert on cassette also but unfortunately the tape has deteriorated. It was a WXRT (Chicago radio station) Sunday night concert that I recorded. I have searched high and low for a recording of the concert. This version of Razor Love and also Someday from the same concert are the best versions of these 2 songs in my opinion. Someone needs to put this concert out on vinyl.

Hi my friend! I haven't heard from you in a while. As far as versions. I have been a Neil fan for many a moon. Right place at right time I guess. Been lucky that way. I have had such profound richness added to my life by Neil I will be forever grateful to him.
I had NY Little Wing up. Warner yanked it. It's a beautiful song. I recommend the song for anyone who likes this one. I have a feeling you know the song well. I tend to be drawn to an idaealistic form of beauty. To the point where it can become a dangerous form of romanticism. I'm a classic romantic at heart but slowly over time came to realize one cannot ignore reality. Hence *songs* that aren't as beautiful are a part of life and I can't ignore them. in actuality, I believe this song is about two people who love each other and got clean and fight to stay clean together.....something always gets lost in "that " place and I think he and his love are trying to find....their true realities again.

I sympathize greatly with his personal afflictions. Yet he lived a glowing life non the less. He should be an inspiration for all people with afflictions to pursue their dreams/muse/calling. So sad he ended his life at 37 yet he lived a far greater life than many people IMO. ~cg
