Yes that's true. But her baby was 9 lbs! She got thin again after having the baby though. I thought Jane looked prettier after she had the baby. She was pretty before but she just seemed to get even more beautiful.

I couldn't help but notice that after this episode Jane Leeves wardrobe was becoming more baggies and not as form fitting as the clothes she wore before. I think this was when she became pregnant in real life.
THANK YOU Frasier for letting us enjoy four years of Nile’s and Daphne’s relationship growing and stabilizing. That’s the one thing I didn’t like about Friends, where Ross and Rachel don’t get together till the end.
Niles & Daphne are my favourite Frasier characters. Can anyone upload the scene from Season 7's "Back Talk" where Daphne thinks at first that Frasier is in love with her after overhearing him talking (to Eddie) and misunderstands what he was saying? And of course the scene where Frasier accidentally reveals to Daphne the truth about Nile's feelings for her after taking medication for his back? People have uploaded the full episode onto RUclips, but the trouble is they don't seem to stay on for long before they get removed. I imagine it's probably due to copyright issues.
@thisisnotreal900 Just a pretentious prep school accent. Frasier's is the same. Apparently you can also learn to talk like that from reading a lot and from living in England for a while (probably taking classical singing lessons for a while, too) but I don't know if I believe that.

Niles was always such a kind , chivalrous man. He treated Daphne like a queen, and was so respectful. I grew to admire that wholesomeness about him.

You posted this twelve years ago (!), but it might be similar to the transatlantic or Mid-Atlantic accent. There are some RUclips videos about it.
