- Aussie melodic death metal or something. Put some extra effort for this one, cos friend of mine threaten to dislike the video if I ruin the song :p Took some 4 hours in total but its pretty good I think.
I love this band more than I love myself, and you nailed it bro!
༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ More Be'lakor
awesome ....very clean it´s a excelent band and excelent cover congratulations!
thanks man :p
I am the hugest Be'lakor fan. After zillions of listening I know this song by heart!! YOU DID IT SO WELL!! The perfect cover ever made!! Hell Yeah!!
Fuck this is awesome mate!
JMBBproject thanks!
more Be'lakor pls! :D
Wow! Great cover man! I actually come from the same hometown Be'lakor comes from :) Love it. Great tones, playing, and production. I really like the concept of splitting the two recorded camera takes like you have in this video, looks really nice! Subscribed! :D
Works well with be'lakor cos they have harmonies thru the whole song pretty much. Also takes a lot longer to do cover like this :P
Süper bee. Tarif edilemez bir duygusu. Tarif edilemez bir solosu var!
Emira Warner Manson ne sandın : )

I like watching this performance over and over lol
And Belakor is going to release a new album soon
thanks and.... they are? awesome, cant wait
So, how was Vessels ?
@@jowenjv4463 Vessels is O.K. but I still prefer Of breath and bone.
@@dr.bimbambula yeah. Me too at the first glance.. I'll say that I enjoyed Of Breath and bones, Stones Reach and The Frail Tide at the very first minute. Really my favorite albums. I took 2 to 3 entire listening to really appreciate Vessels. I found it OK as you said at the first time, now I'll say that it's really a great album with music that I'll remember. Still prefer previous ones though, but not by far. Cheers.
@@jowenjv4463 Yes exaxtly, I think the same.
I think 1:45 is supposed to be played with one guitar
@Za3boor ruclips.net/video/3D648d-VJyM/видео.html play it at 20% speed, very clear that he plays the rhythm and melody. Oh, and ruclips.net/video/3D648d-VJyM/видео.html of course, you see the guitar player on the left idle.
and these also ruclips.net/video/c3acHqPhtpA/видео.html ruclips.net/video/I6XztBk3bl0/видео.html
@Za3boor In the original song it's clear it can be played with a single guitar, and it's also extremely super obvious that he's playing the rhythm and melody here ruclips.net/video/3D648d-VJyM/видео.html - play it at 20% speed and you can both hear the bass rhythm skip as he plays the melody, and at the same time you can see his left hand skip sometimes several strings, and his right hand play including his pinky. Also watch this video: ruclips.net/video/c3acHqPhtpA/видео.html
Does it really matter that much lol
@@hellomynameisdia8530 Of course it does, it just sounds silly without the bass part.
Great song. Great cover. Congrats Hartsai.
Love the moonsorrow tshirt
They are amazing...and so are you dude...
Michael White thanks!
This is even better than your other belakor cover! \m/
ty!
Respect.
sounds like original :D awesome Job dude :)
Good job mate!!!
Great work... Could you try a cover from the new album Vessels ?
thanks, i dont think i will. i dont really like the new album
That's awesome dude!
Awesome cover dude...
Beautiful man!! Great!
Rohan Singh thanks!
Could you send me a free link for the tabs? That would be great!! :-D
Rohan Singh read the description! theyre already there
masterpiece
I love it is it possible if you could provide the tabs??
www.dropbox.com/s/cnqwc6mrxu5q9in/belakor-abeyance.txt?dl=0 try this
bro whats your equipment, tuning and setup please tell me thanks
pc, line6 pod x3, standard e tuning
I love that song
wow. awesome job.
Hey! :-)
Could you do one on Be'lakor - The Desolation Of Ares?
And With Free tabs link in the description?! :-P
That would be great!!
Rohan Singh nope
Nice cover. Seems 100% accurate!
This wasnt that hard to hear tbh. All the leads are panned almost 100% left and right so it makes hearing them really easy. Actually the rhythm guitars were hardest to hear out. Try listening the 3:08 part panned to left on the orginal song :p sounds pretty funny
Hartsai
m8 with which program you did the mixing?
Reaper Redeemer I use cubase sx2 for recording stuff, its pretty old but works for me. for video editing i use sony vegas pro
Hartsai
Ok i wanted to see if this software is still up to use XD
I maked use of both those programs, cubase for guitar stuff and vegas for some gaming capturin... :P
I am back from a long time abandoned my guitar cause of an accident on my right hand. And i am gonna return to the recrdin sh1t.
Soz for the bla bla, keep up the good work \m/
Reaper Redeemer
that sucks man, glad to hear your hand is ok tho. I guess some hand stresses are bad for some guitarrists. Sometimes you hear ppl hurting their hand in studio due playing too much. Also Cubase is propably the best audio recording program for windows.
Awesome!
Amazing, where do you get the tabs?
played by ear. i can make tabs if you need
Hartsai Holy shit,by ear? Youre fantastic,if you can, send me the tabs
Hartsai I think two years of experience are nothing to be able to play guitar like this
yuri vinicius Teixeira Well, Ive played over 10 years already. Its not really a hard song anyways. I started making tabs, they should be ready tomorrow, hopefully.
yuri vinicius Teixeira
Okay man, tabs added to video description :P Have fun, theyre kinda messy haha
Love it!
that was really damn cool . can I get the tabs or the music sheet????
Check video description please
Awesome.
thanks!
No problem. Best Belakor cover I came across so far. I also have to give you props for learning it by ear, because I learn the same way.
fuck yea dude keep practicing love it
Good work! \,,/
tattista!
Hey man, awesome cover! Did you know that a 7 string guitar isn't needed though? They play drop D on a 6 string. Regardless, you are pretty much spot on. Love this band!
+karmapolice911 yeb i know. I mostly play everything in E,D or C in standard 7 string tuning if its possible.
Katos hyvä huomata et tää biisi on päätyny suomipojalle asti coveroitavaks!
Kyllähän belakoria on jo useita vuosia fiilistely
hey dude, i admire your work, can you please make a "battery" cover from metallica? Pleaaasee😊
I need the tabs pleaseee
file.io/Eo02I6ZWd5m3 try this. link expires in 2 days
ha yeah that was real good...
ty! more be'lakor coming in few days! (maybe even today)
nice u should do remnants
oxyninjassassin
next one wont be remnants and i think i wont do another belakor cover for some time as it will be my third already in short time. Be'lakor is pretty fun and somewhat easy to play so in future ill think about it
no biggy, ever thought of doing some amon amarth?
oxyninjassassin
not big fan of amon amarth so propably no :p
Are you using a noise gate/noise suppressor pedal?
Nirvana208 yeb, im using noise gate on pod x3. I cant say i understand much of those anyway :P Its pretty weird tone anyway because its dual tone. If i wasnt too lazy i would record the separate channels but it sounds surprisingly good even with two (or one time three) dual tones.
great shirt
what kinda scales belakor play?? anyone?
+MetalDoraemon6 minor?
+Martti Merilaid natural. phrygian.dominant'pentatonic??? :/
natural minor mostly. as most other metal bands.
+Martti Merilaid thanks my friend..ive learned the modes..but to apply them together is difficult..specially in metal genre.....any tip about a book or video to learn it??? thank you
well, idk I'm really not a scale freak, don't actually use scales that much (nor am I a good guitarist). many suggest john petrucci's (dream theater guitarist) book. check it out
Неплохо!!!
+Alex G Selevö
are you tuned a step down?
Nah man, this is E-standard, but with 7 string... On record they play on D or drop D i think
Hartsai Cool, i know they play in standard so it must be D standard tuning for this one. Thanks for clearing that one up :)
Daniel Griffin
i actually doubt they play on standard tunings on this record, at least not on all songs. i covered fraught too and it would be pretty much impossible to play in standard tuning (in that cover i used drop D) also seems like thats the tuning they use in their fraught live video. But then again they might use tricks and stuff on studio record and play differently on live
You are not playing the part at 1:45 the ''correct way''
no worries, theres propably multiple parts that i dont play correctly
+Hartsai I love how you are so damn cool with this man! You are great! xD
+Mehrdad SH he's right tho. I wouldnt in any way call this a perfect cover :p
are you aussie or finnish?
a fin
@@Hartsai im finnish and born in australia
You still have to practice a lot your speed
Technique 6/10
Tabs 5/10
Clearity of sound 8/10
Guitar tones 9.5/10
Video editing 10/10
Tuning wrong, I see you have 7 strings but it still should be D drop to play this song correctly at 1:45. If you ask me try harder. You got the potential. Listen to the song slower to hear the notes or listen more and more to understand more. DO NOT CHANGE the playing style because of its difficulty. It sucks.
Or ill just play it like i want and you can play it how you want, how about that.
Easy man :D Put your weapon down :D I tried to tell you your minuses. To improve you. If you don't want the honest comments then you play better than Be'lakor *clap* *clap* *clap* 0.o If I wanted to humiliate you I would've said "Worst cover I've ever seen Congrats! "Worst" is the Best of "Sucking" so you Are the BEST!!!" or something...
Ahmet Koçak Its also almost a year old cover. I did these once a week, and probably none of them are 100% correct in terms of technique or notes. I dont really mind if they arent 100% accurate and to be honest with you here, i knew i was not playing the part correctly, but didnt get it sound even somewhat good playing like you described (tho i was trying with E tuning). There is similar part of one of the other belakor covers i did where i think i played in Drop D and played with the string skips. Its nothing new to me but i dont really care any ways, this is definitely not the channel to follow if you want to see quality covers, these are just 1-2 days of practise and record covers
edit: formatting
I was looking for a reply just like this man. What I actually want to say is why? Why won't you make a really good cover? You can probably do it and also I can see that you've spent some time to record and arrenge the record and the tones and edit the video etc. Why not working on the song itself? Come on man it doesn't make any sense? Don't you love playing this song?
Ahmet Koçak
I tried doing these covers once a week and thats big limit, gave up that long time ago and now that im doing full time work i get to play even less. All the tunes i use in these covers are the exact same in every cover that i do. In some covers a mix up things and add delay(wow!). The clean tunes are all factory presets from pod x3. What comes about the arrange, video and audio are both done simultaneously, so no separate audio or video recordings (has again to do with not so spot on playing, its hard to mix video and audio if there recorded separately cos they wont match unless you play really carefully, i guess its why recording music videos is hard for pros too). I just do another another record (both video and audio) when there is good point for that i.e when distortion changes to clean. If there is no good point to record in multiple parts i do everything in single take. What comes to video editing, its very easy and takes only 15-30 minutes max. And what comes to liking playing these songs, i dont think i need to be playing 100% correct to enjoy playing. Of course i enjoy it, why else would i do the cover.. All my covers are done because i wanted to play the song and only because i felt like doing it. Thats the reason why i dont take requests either. Id like to say that ppl who have subscribed here subscribed because they liked what i chose to play, not what someone who watches my videos chosed. Not that it really matters when i only have so few subs anyways. i just like do crappy and fast videos to kill some free time i have so little now
Cool man
