RiP Stanley G. Finnegan A great man that probably never expected to have a following online but here we are. We are fortunate to have been introduced to him and I'm sure he will be fondly remembered by many for a long, long time. From the very first moment we get to see what a hard working, Intelligent and fun gentleman he is and from what Mike says thats just the beginning. He is an example we can all strive to match.
i love how your crew covers each other. birthday? get your ass home, i got it. you got a meeting? i'll take it from here. and those dudes you helped in that hotel parking lot? they're never selling that car now. you guys are the cat's pajamas.
No that Z/28 is fucking mean, it will tear up any track you put it on... Kiss a Porsche good-bye at a stoplight, and make a GTR look like a SUV when cornering.
My uncle, Kevin Gass, a field rep and NOS tech for Holley, drove the crusher in the pits at an NHRA even and said he didn't think it was even fit to be driven around in that situation, let alone the highway.
Love the old episodes, I'm glad the algorithm is pushing them. K now, the relationship between Finnegan Jr and Sr was heartwarming, and I'm definitely not a softy, but it was so real and warm it really touched me. Talking cars, that Imperial you helped fix is a well rare and weird car, esthetically speaking it's a child of the era, so a love it or hate it kinda deal, and I happen to be the second person to like it 😅, it has sort of a small waterfall grille, and a sort of hybrid horse drawn carriege "trunk" / regular trunk, which are both weird but "subtle" enough (subtle in huge quotes!😅) to make it an intresting design. I remember photoshopping one slammed on 70s lowrider wheels, Tru Spokes, Star Wires, Astros, Cragars etc.. and lowered on nice rims with a thin white, really helped its wedgey shape gain some meaning. Unfortunately those cars have a lot of electrical problems and a real $hit engine, so to make one into a custom and being also able to enjoy it, would most likely require an engine swap and lots of harness work, and since their value is on the negative side only a true fan would have the necessary motivation, and to the day I've yet to see one. The fact that most didn't survive the crusher might be another reason though.. Anyway, great episode, thanks for the entertainment 👍🏻🖤🏴☠️
This one even went all sentimental! The pit stop to visit Mike's dad was a really great detour, you could tell it meant a lot to Mr. Finnegan. Roadkill keeps outdoing itself.

It really is the coolest thing that you guys took time out of your busy day to help a fan with his car. It says a great deal about you, hot rod guys and true car enthusiasts.
These shows have to run a pretty tight program in regards to how much noise each stand makes. The reason being that trade shows have had issues in the past of stands trying to outdo each other for attention with everything from loud music to all sorts of odd things. But the show should have been more lenient seeing that the show was pretty much over, so it wasn't that important at that point. I'm guessing that Hotrod did not ask for permission, which was kind of dumb, seeing that it is easy to get permission for such things as long as they are planned.
@@AB-80X sometimes, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission :) but yeah, getting yelled at was avoidable, along with showing up with a box truck and "not having the tools" to pull off an air cleaner assembly to avoid starting a fire...and not having decent jumper cables (all my cars do, a product of driving old junk when poor). they say they don't invent drama for the camera, but a lot of what they run into is just plain avoidable...

Or they sped past him dangerously, and, not wanting anybody to be injured, they stopped him for being unsafe on slick icey roads at night in low visibility because safety. Just a thought.
You get it mate, but to the other people who don't that complain, "shouldn't they be attacking drug dealers not speeders etc". How do you people think they catch them? Officers need to be able to pull over cars and make stops in order to hunt for the real problems, and fining people for little offenses encourages them to drive legally and not end up wasting officers' time. They can't go up to a shay looking fella and say hey I think you're a drug dealer, but they can pull over somebody with a missing taillight and if that person has coke, or a kidnapped little girl, etc, that little traffic stop just saved them. That's how the majority of predators, murderers, etc are caught, which is why it's important for officers to make stops and why it's important to obey the little laws like registration, it keeps innocent people safe.

Really gr8 episode! The rat rod chick sounded like she really wanted to party with some married guys. LOL! Keep up the killer videos guys!
She wanted the D. lol
tct72 Yea, you are correct. And I seriously doubt she personally has ever turned a wrench on that rat rod. Probably paid a fab shop to do the work or it's from her dad's shop. Very rare u see a girl like that build a hot rod. I'm not saying females can't do it. Just saying I doubt SHE did the work.
OG BB
She'd still be a good receptacle for the D, though.
André Rodrigues Yea she looks like she knows how to work a stick shift. ;)
OG BB
Aye, she's probably used to shifting with several knobs :D
That hot rod chick is completely bat shit crazy.
Yes she is, but that would not stop me from having intercourse with her, anybody got a link?
Yeah lol nothing makes girls crazier than racing fuel and burnt rubber
This show makes me want to build cars all day everyday
This show also got me into muscle cars and helps me learn about cars
I also see some pretty sick races and burnouts
Thanks Roadkill!
Rest easy Stan!
when that chick came over you should have just kept the throttle down and pretend she was not there. That would have been awesome
Have watched it again and like everytime, goosebumps from the last bit. What an incredible beautiful machine. I hope that I'll ever be able to see it in person...
And Finnegan & Freiburger, you guys are grand! Really enjoy the show. It's one of those things that really lightens me up.
productivity across the world dipped during those 3 days...
I went a year or two ago to Cadillac ranch and your sticker is gone

the embodiment of the emotions and goals of every car enthusiast ever when they fired it up in that convention center. fucking awesome!
Where did 2014 go?
Man, this seems not long ago at all..
yea
28:30 that's one good looking hot rod right there. if you know what i mean..
I've always said their cars, not trophys. Drive em! My step dad used to drive the 66 Coronet, the 55 and 60 Chevy sedans in the winter time. Usually only when it was slushy and not very salty. His theory was if it had more gas in the tank then his daily driver, it was going out the door!
17mpg and 10.07 so long as you swap out the rear end gears when you get to the track lol
Muscle truck still sounds better!
yep
ya
the muscle truck is the best sounding car/truck ever no ifs or buts
the muscle truck is the best sounding car/truck ever no ifs or buts

RIP Mr. Finnegan. So sorry for your loss Mike
the chick was hot!! and builds cars!! in love!
seriously, does anyone know who the pin up girl is with that sick hotrod?
hillary clinton
+Christian Garofalo Hillary would hate her
No idea, but I hope she realizes just how popular of a RUclips channel she could have with a half decent video crew and some minor editing.
Not even a half decent video crew. Just a handi cam and a go-pro. She would be epic.
