There are countless guys out there posting videos just so they can hear themselves talk. After 5 minutes of rambling, they haven't said a damn thing. YOU on the other hand, were highly concise, to the point, quick, direct, no BS, no fluff, and hugely helpful to the poor guys out there with a Binding problem. Nice work!

I did the step by step you recommended… on my controller the binding continue to flash until it timed out and the drone did not connect to the controller… any ideas what the issue is.
So I just spent all day working on getting my controller and drone to connect. I had lost signal between the drone and the phone app during flight so I brought it back and got it talking again but the controller wouldn't work. I was resetting, watching every video possible, finally contacted online help. Refreshed updates and still nothing. 4 hours later I watch this video and you happen to mention being in RC mode. I checked, it had been put into wifi mode. No other mention of checking this anywhere in any forum, on the DJI website, not one mention of it. Four hours of my life wasted. Thank you for your help.

Hello, the only thing I can think of right now is 2 possible problems. 1. maybe android needs a app update 2. your micro usb cable connecting the controller to your tablet/phone is not pushed in all the way into your tablet/controller or the cable is bad. See if you can borrow someone's iPhone and try to see if it works?
Well i just finished re-updating the firmware, and that USB cable I used is one of the ones I used earlier. My Wife has iPhone and i don't think that's going to happen. I will wait till she falls asleep. LOL thanks for your input.
So weird did you look at the warning in the app... When it says you have 45 seconds to link or whatever.. it actually says hit the linking button on the remote control not the aircraft... Don't know if you have a different version than you.. So what I did was hold the C1, the C2 and then hit the top left record button And then it linked weird....
I'm still having trouble with mines. When i press the link rc button , my controller doesn't beep. Ive tried deleting the app and reinstalling it , still nothing. Any helpful tips?
Mine is not doing any of this...please help!! My remote page says only c1 and c2 then at bottom. REMOTE CONTROLLER LINKING When pressed it does absolutely nothing. And I've pressed that black dot and now it's shutting down cause I've been messing with it for so long Please help!!!
I really dont know why is it doing it but my problem is when I turn on my mantis q all lights are green and after 2 secounds both of back lights are blincing blue and two sensors under the drone are makeing some weird noise and than the drone starts to make noise like a working laptop and it wont connect with the drone,it says that I have to bind my phone with remote control but it is already binded and it just dont want to conect with the drone , what sholud I do?

The app did absolutely nothing for the drone! Currently I'm trying the assist on pc. Dji, for $1k, it's gotta be easier than this!

You forgot one most important step!!!!!! Find a pin / stick small enough to push the button on top of the green light.
