Oh it is so nice to see a positive review of the 880 plus! I have one and it is an amazingly wonderful machine! I wish I could find a place in my house for a second one. Your deal is magnificent.
I recently acquired an 830LE, which was a forerunner to the 880. I need to bring it in for the bobbin winder, but I LOVE this machine! And you are right. It is not like any other sewing machine. My husband says that the other sewing machines, (not my 1031, which is all mechanical), are sewing machines with computers. This one, and the 880, are computers with sewing machines. And yes, there is a learning curve. But these machines are so far above and beyond others that it is worth working with them. They truly are dream machines! I will watch the 4 videos! Aside from the manuals, there are also several RUclips videos that are big helps. I will be bringing my 3 machines to see Dave within the next week. (I own 6 Berrnina's) Margaret and her team are absolutely fantastic for anyone looking for a top-notch dealership! I have been a "Bernie Girl" since 1993, and a professional seamstress for over 45 years. It is a two-hour trip up to see them for us, but I wouldn't consider going anywhere else! They are wonderful!
Margaret, thank you for your comments on the 880. I have not heard positive comments on this machine. I have had mine for several years. it does need a bit of learning curve but any problems I have had are operator errors. The four videos you suggested are wonderful. Just watched all four and will rewatch in the future. They go slowly and precisely. We need more videos on the difference between the 880 and other Bernina machines. I live on the west side of the country so cannot come in your shop, but I hope to start doing more sewing for myself so will be looking for garment fabrics. Thank you for your videos. I watch them regularly.

I just found out about this awesome sale and my husband said "Yes!"... I am upgrading from a Bernini embroidery-only machine and I can't wait to try the jumbo hoop. So excited! Bernini is my favorite of all time. ❤ Thanks for all the awesome videos!
I recently bought an 880+ a couple weeks ago. Sadly, the shop closest to me won't offer lessons unless you bought it from them. The videos have been very helpful but I really wish I had an in person option.
