Anyone thinking of moving to AL, first visit several times in several areas to see if AL living is for you, if your moving from a different part of the country especially the NE or West Coast living in the South will be a culture shock, jobs in your field may not be as numerous, will not pay as much or offer working remotely. If you are family oriented, conservative and enjoy a more rural lifestyle or small town living, AL will be better suited to you.
This, unfortunately, is a copy and paste of other videos, no insight into other areas of the state other than Birmingham. Those of us who do reside in the state and live in the other areas know there's much more to the state, I intend to keep my slice of heaven secret, though.
and if you like never ending construction and traffic from hell because of OLD two lane roads, ya. move to Madison and Huntsville, it sucks to be near either
Pretty much you are saying the Birmingham area is best. I totally disagree. That area is filthy and crime ridden. Find yourself a little town at least an hour away from any big city.
