    Have had 2 babies and never started to really work on my DR until about 4-5 months ago. I’ve used this video 3-5x a week for the last several Months and today I was declared “healed of diastasis recti” love her love this video ❤️

      Im inspired by ur story! Im 38 n had my baby 2020...a bit too late to start recovering my DR. Hope i can achieve this too! 3-4 times a week? That sounds great! Are u on diet or any other tips u can share? Ta in adv🤗💐

      @@azmaothman987 it's never too late! Science shows that no matter how long it's been you can still heal Diastasis recti with breathing exercises that strengthen the core and diastasis recti specific exercises like in this video, just make sure you find out what exercises to stay away from and not do and things not to do until you heal (like lifting heavy things as an example).       This gives me so much hope!! I have 3 finger gap upper and 5 finger gap lower. 3 babies in less than 4 years was really hard on my body.

    I had my daughter almost 3 years ago. Once I found this video and did the check, I had about a 2 finger gap, and I’ve done these workouts almost every morning for about 3-4 ish weeks and I’m happy to say my gap is gone! I realized it started working after 2 weeks when I was down to a 1 finger gap. But all in all great workout! Thank you

    Threw myself into this yesterday. Was hard work but felt good.
    Thought Day 2 would be even better. Threw myself into the first exercise and Ouch! Did a bit, but less than half of yesterday. Will rest today and try again tomorrow. Take it gently if you are not used to such tough moves ❤
    Update: I now do them every day and am feeling the difference!

    Initially, these exercises seemed relatively easy to do. I am not new to working out, but had been working my ab muscles all wrong to correct DR. It has been 19 years since my last baby, and these exercises are really making a difference in reshaping my abs!! The gap is closing!! =D

      This is extremely encouraging to hear that your gap is closing almost 20 years later. I was diagnosed with DR 11 years ago and I had a 2nd baby about 5 years later and now it’s even worse 😩. I’m hoping i can still fix it.

    Im so happy I've done them for about 2 weeks now and I don't feel a gap anymore. I didn't think it would be possible since I had my last baby almost 3 years ago but, I just had to work really hard for it. I am so happy and surprised! 😄

      I've had 4 kids and only did this once after being tired of by belly bulge, in 24 hours plus wearing a splint I've already seen a marked improvement. What a difference its already made. I'm going to keep this routine every other day!

    4 years later, and I am still coming back to this video to check in with my deep core.
    For someone who doesn’t have this problem, the ab exercises we’re still SO GOOD! Especially those leg circles! My favorite was probably the oblique side crunches. Thanks, Ashley!
    Back after baby #5! Still one of my favorite ab exercises to really feel the burn. Leg circles! Man! They are tough!!

    I did Fit With Sallys 12 min Diastasis Recti video for about a week and then changed to this one as it is quicker, but more demanding (I can feel the burn).
    Been doing the exercises for about 2,5 weeks now, about 6 days a week…my gap is already down from almost 3 fingers to almost 1,5 fingers at the widest point! Wow! I am definitely continuing this! At this rate, my gap should be completely closed in about 3 weeks!
    As a mum of twins with the huuuugest belly, I started out with the widest gap ever.. Must have been like 20 fingers… I could see gas moving through my bowels! My gap gradually closed on its own but at the 6 month mark I was so sick of the bulge, which although smaller still was quite big…yeah, not very flattering. My boyfriend is amazed at how quickly my belly has flattened over the course of these last 2 weeks! I am so grateful! Also doing intermittent fasting, i.e. only eating between 12:00-20:00. I can eat whatever I want in that time, and still, it makes me lose weight! So gone from a bit of a whale to almost myself again… can’t wait to get my waist back! ❤

    Great workout, thanks for posting! I just want to mention that diastasis recti is not limited to pregnant women! I'm a man who developed DR from years of being overweight and out of shape, with a protuberant "beer belly" that became so severe my ab muscles separated. I had no idea, although when I tried to do situps I would get this weird ridge down the middle of my belly, but I had no idea what it was until I tried a Pilates class. My instructor took one look at me and told me to stop what I was doing and work on my diastasis before I tried doing situps, planks, etc. This is exactly the kind of workout she recommended. Thanks!

      Update: I added 4 more simple warm up exercises Diastasis Recti safe of course. Since then I’ve noticed a major difference! Since the 25th (when I started) and now (11th Feb) my D.R is almost healed!

      Did you have a lot of pain with your DR? I'm afraid to try anything. Just taking a walk hurts my abs. I'm 12 weeks postpartum.

      @@justagermericangirl496 not at all! I didn’t feel any pain. 12 weeks is far too early to start any workout. You should ideally start when you are 5 months postpartum. Let you body heal first.

      About 3 years ago my body was weak after pregnancy, for some months went to a physical therapist who helped me gain strength in my weak muscles. I been continuing those few exercises up until now. My gap went from 3 fingers to 2. Still have a gap though since not being persistent. I will look into your program, thanks

    I have to say that this workout is so exciting! For the first time in YEARS I actually had sore abs (and not from coughing from a cold lol)! I am so excited because I can finally *feel* my TA activating because I can actually *feel* my core!!! My DR is pretty bad after my two big babies (the biggest being 10lb3oz) but I have so much hope now!

    I cannot believe how fast this works. I've only done this workout 4 times in the past 2 weeks, but I see a HUGE difference. I've already gone from 3 finger-widths DR to 2.5 finger widths!!! And V line is looking good - my husband definitely agrees! ;) I feel great. :)

    UPDATE
    I've been doing this for 2 months and went from a 37 inch waist to 32 inches! My gap us not totally healed when I'm standing relaxed but getting there. My ab muscles feel way tighter!

      So happy for you Renee! But please refrain from doing this everyday. Just like you wouldn't train legs everyday, the abs should not be trained daily too! Muscle repair and recovery happens after micro muscle tears occur (a good thing) then our bodies make PROGRESS during rest. 3 days per week is the smartest.

    I’ve done other exercises that never worked and just made me feel hopeless but this actually worked after two sessions. I have 4 children (6-14) and 3 finger gap. When I read the comments that some had results in one session I decided to see if I had results. I’m shocked. I’m going to stick with it! Hopefully I can move on to do exercises I haven’t been able to do in 14 years!

    This was the first workout I’ve done postpartum and for real I felt result immediately. I was terrified to learn I had DR but after doing this workout (literally one time!) I’m no longer worried and I know I can fix my DR quickly. I also love that this isn’t super painful. I could probably do two sets of this whole workout after I am completely closed up just to maintain my lower abdomen! Love it!

    Wow this looks like it may not be hard, but 2 exercises in and I'm breathing hard. The leg circles I haven't seen before. Love how they are mostly on back. Doesn't mean easy. Will continue! Thank you for sharing!!

    I’ve never been pregnant but I got a diastasis Recti when I rapidly gained weight. I’ve lost 20lbs now, but still have it. I didn’t know that certain ab workouts like bicycle crunches were bad for it so I’ll have to incorporate this into my routine!

    This an workout is amazing. Not only did my abs feel like they actually got a workout but It really helped to stretch my waist muscles . Simple, straightforward, and fun.

    Very helpful & it felt great! Most vids I try are way too light & don’t do enough for me since I don’t have much of a gap but do have very stretched out muscles from 3 kids. Regular ab workouts cause a long painful spasm in my upper abs which make me stop. These are perfect.

    I believe mine closed up already after about a week of doing these before going to the gym!!! Even my hubby noticed my stomach looks a bit flatter. And my jeans definitely are ALL loose!!! Thank you for your help!!!!

    I cant even begin to tell you how much these have made me feel Good again about my body after having my second baby. I just started these and I already see and feel a huge difference, I want to do these everyday but I refrain from doing so. In order to allow my body to heal and repair itself.     This is such a good workout! First time I feel my abs burning compared to other diastasis workouts. I truly feel my muscles working. Other workouts are too simple and more for recently postpartum women or those with severe DR. I needed a challenge and this was it for me.

    I'm so happy I found this video. It's so simple, quick, and easy. I was diagnosed with DR after having two pregnancies really close together. With all the do's and don't's that goes into working abs with DR, I was getting confused on how to work out. Thank you for posting this!!!

    I just do it once daily, the lower abs have tightened up, 2 weeks. Mind you I’m 10 years PP ! I'm going to continue till I see a considerable difference. The reason I started was I have a huge DR, to begin with, didn't check the gap I'm sure it's a lot. Secondly, the exercise here is so simple and quick, it will be a shame to let go of it. I have kept at it , I do it 3 to 4 days a week. It’s amazing . Now I wish somebody comes up with something for the upper body , quick and easy 😇.

    Just found this video today. I’m 390 weeks (😂) post partum from my C-section from twins, preceded by a c-section 19 months prior to that. Finally decided to do something about my partial outie and ab separation. Enjoyed the video. Saving it.

    I have this condition after 3 kids and I cannot get over how much I love this ab routine! It’s the first Diastasis recti routine that didn’t feel like a DR routine! I would do this even if I didn’t have it. I’ve been telling all my friends about this one especially.

    Love this. I think u have just come to the realization that I may indeed have this abdomen issue. I was very lean and fit prior to pregnancy only gained 27lbs and worked out daily up until day before delivery. However, I didn't think I had any issues for the first several months I started back working out with postnatal workouts once dr gave me the green light. After 2 to 3 weeks of doing those I felt like i was more than ready to get back to some of my normal workouts and for a long time I felt like I was getting stronger and leaner. Then right b4 my sons 1st bday I noticed a pooch coming back. I have always tried to eat mostly clean and watch what i eat for many many years i haven't changed that so much and was picking up my cardio and workouts and getting into a good routine. I was in denial for many months and couslnt figure out what was going on i couldnt wear any of my clothes without seeing it and it's like the harder I went worse it got. So I have researched and believe this is indeed my issue. I have been doing these a couple days. But really love hiit training and workout. Do u think they would still be ok if they aren't any ab movements in them? I feel like I need to do more than just theaw exercises although been trying to go thru them 2 to 3 times daily. I had just started running outdoors for the last 3 months. I researched that last night and alot of controversy over whether or not u should do that if u have DR? What are your thoughts and professional opinion?

      This is very similar to my story! Similar fitness history, similar pregnancy weight gain, also do HIIT, etc. I was cleared for exercise and told I didn't have DR, and I started out getting back into exercise slowly after my second kid's birth 14 months ago. I ramped up the intensity of my workouts over the past several months, but now I look like I have more of a postpartum pooch than when I was just getting back into working out! A friend recommended this video and the 12 week program, but I am also going to a PT for an evaluation and some help figuring out how to wake up and engage the muscles that have been overlooked.

    Nearly 7 months postpartum with baby #5, completed the pp 12 week plan, and this is the most confident I have ever been about my core. Thank you so much not only for the safe, quick, challenging, and effective workouts but also for the amount of knowledge you share so I can understand what's going on as my body recovers and grows in strength.     Thank you for this workout. I would get painful muscle spasms with other ab exercises and attributed to DR. I can feel the burn but not the muscle cramps. Thank you!

    I’m glad I found this. My diastasis recti gap is 5”. I had twins and then a single 19 months later. Im now 7 months post partum and this is the first work out where I’ve felt like I’ve accomplished something.

      Having twins plus a single baby not even a year after the twin delivery is a lot on your connective tissues and muscles. Smart on you for being determined now at 7 mo pp to start taking your Diastasis Recti ab gap seriously moving forward. I've had twin moms, triplet moms, (and currently my first quadruplet mom ever! she has already done my plan once with a singleton and is now on it 4 months pp with her quadruplets). These women have close down 4, 5, and 6 finger width gaps down to a solid 2. I am very hopeful for you. Feel free to message me on IG asking for pics of other twin moms and the progress they've made on my 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan too! ^(this workout here is quite advanced and not the best for starting out...do it too soon and if you see coning, you could make your separation worse) I really recommend starting from phase 1 of my plan and working your way up to phase 3 then revisiting this workout for "maintenance" once your gap is a 2.

    I loved this workout! Definitely felt the burn and bonus for being able to do all 8 minutes laying on the ground so my 10 month old could come have his boobie buffet as he please 🤣. He was able to play right next to me knowing I’m right at his level! Thank you!

    This may just be the best workout I've ever found. I don't know if I had an ab gap or not after 4 3 kids with natural births because I didn't have it checked until after it had closed, but after my third I found it impossible to move the little mum tum no matter how many sit ups and crunches I did. But I did these for 2 months and saw amazing results and I think I'm going to go on doing them!

    You r such an inspiration for everyone who has given up hopes of flat belly after delivery. I am 11 weeks postpartum with my second child. I have 3 finger gap just above my belly button. One of the comments i read tat u suggested 3X a week and this is a 21 days challenge. Could u plz tell me wat shld i go with 21 days or 3X a week. Thank you.

      @@glowbodypt So the 12 week plan can be started anytime (months, years) after delivery. Also, do u hve a payment plan, cause for now i cannot put the whole amount down may be after couple of months.

Amongst all core/ab workouts on youtube that feature diastasis recti safe routines, this is the best one as it keeps your heart rate increased (cardio) and is excellently timed!

    Definitely a good ab workout. I do wish that she would have talked more about engaging your core properly, and the danger of allowing yourself to dome. If you do you not know much about diastases recti, these workouts could cause your gap to worsen if you aren’t engaging properly.

    Enjoyed watching! I'll be doing this tonight! It was recently determined that I have DR. Now it makes sense as to why my stomach would bloat like I'm pregnant again after doing ALL of the Ab exercises that you mentioned. Thank goodness for my physical therapist who checked me for it !! This gives me some hope because my children are adults now!
