Since 21:50, Solar lose his main base hatch and the creep around it. His tech buildings were dying. Then a lot later a tiny creep pixel appear on the minimap, I think he use overlord to supply the creep.
Great call. Cure sniped his hive maybe 30 seconds before your timestamp. He had a lot of high-tech structures already though, so it did not instantly end the game.
I like that you switch up the intros these days. Some immediately into the action like this, and some a slower more of a build up. The variety is nice.
Depends, is the energy cost for the Snipe subtracted from the Ghost at the begin or end of the channel? If at the end, it wouldn't help that much because the second those Ultras are dropped again the Ghosts can try to Snipe again. It works against Cyclones because the ability goes on cooldown.
it theoretically works for retreating. But when chasing down marines with ghosts sniping in the back, it's kind of hard to pull that off. If Ultras are picked up before snipe goes off, stimmed marines can easily pick off the overlord. It'd be cool if there's a T-3 expensive upgrade from Infestation Pit that allows viper blinding cloud to affect spell-casting, making blinding cloud able to interrupt snipes though.
I think reducing the zergling size would make them a lot better. You don't surround as easily, but when you do perform a surround their DPS would be astounding.
Chitinous Blight would be an upgrade for the roach. It allows the roach to emit a gas from it carapace, dubbed Blight, that debuffs units around it- both friend and foe.
it adds a poisonous armor to the roach. anything caught in melee range gets a poison debuff. and for added fun, if the unit dies from the poison, it explodes into a gas that poisons other nearby units… and if THOSE units die from the poison explosion, they explode into broodlings that also deal poison damage… ok maybe that would be too OP?
@@djinn_tseng it certainly sounds strong, however it is a bit position based to be able to do a chain, and players of high skill are unlikely to get caught out more then once without a lapse of micro
Is it weird that I think Ravagers are kinda cute? Like turtle-y little Zerg. They'd be a cute pet, besides the acid and all, but we can breed that out of the strain. Replace it with cola or something.
Its fun they keep tweaking the units, but I’d love them to shake things up by adding a collossal unit for each race, an Odin, a Leviathan and a mothership. Only one allowed at once. It might create some fun variety in the late game.
21:24 when speaking both "slowed down" and "slown down" are correct. If you're writing English though you should only use "slowed down" because "slown" isn't a word but is a pronunciation that has evolved over time.
Very weird, I think he could have constantly pumped lings on flanking attacks with each macro and threatened on the opposite side with his more expensive units, the Terran cannot keep up with that type of production, also bolster with a few macro hatches. Very confusing.
21:30 Correct me if I'm wrong, but Slown down is a Texas word? "The game has Slown down a little bit." "The game has Slowed down a little bit." Slown down is easier to say, so.... IDK, English is weird.

You know when you've been watching Starcraft a lot when you think "it feels like the Zerg needs corruptors here..." and then you hear "we have couple of corruptors I like the idea of a couple corruptors a lot." You also know you won't be playing much Starcraft when you think that and the pro player is already halfway through making them...
Casual viewer here, never actually played much for myself, so not too knowledgeable on the subject but why don't Zerg armies include more Hydralisks? They never have much anti-air and prioritizing medivac takedowns seems like a reasonable strategy to me
They die to a stiff breeze in the worst way. They also operate at a different speed compared to a lot of other Zerg units. Not the worst thing you could be making, but you lose them to incidental splash damage in ways that are harder to replace than other cheaper units.
solar was making corruptors which he used to take out medivacs, the problem with hydras is they are like a worse version of marines. Hydra ling bane (banelings to try and counter the marines) is a tried and tested unit composition. Also even with speed it can be quite hard to catch the medivacs with their speed boost and manoeuvrability.
"It's good to be able to disengage in starcraft 2 and not be too committed" hard agree, but when someone uses vipers I kind of laugh at that statement. That unit needs to be nerfed harder than the ghosts.
Terrans with the ghost change remind me of that Patrick meme "now I'm going to starve!" with the rest of the patch being buffs to compensate for a minor nerf.

Solar griefing. He’s up on bases with 50 gas and 3k minerals and decides to attack into the middle of the map, far far far off creep. Just say you’re trading wins now. Jeez
Terran MULE still OP. The zerg is still garbage. The tech building is also expensive, but you have to invest 50 more minerals called drones there and pay 50 minerals again to produce the lost drone. Are the zerg a cheap tribe? Fuc shieeeeeit. Zerg most expensive and inefficient species. Blizzard, please delete the zerg. StarCraft 2 only requires Terran and Protoss. Zerg units are expensive to upgrade and take a long time to complete.
Tech buildings are expensive because you only need one to spam their unit from every hatchery (expansions and any macro hatches). One spawning pool is 250 minerals. One barracks is 150. But you can produce 3 pairs of zerglings in the time it takes to make 1 marine for that 250. Add 50/25 for a tech reactor if you'd rather make marauders, or 50/50 for a reactor to speed up marine production. But 1 hatch and a pool outproduces one CC and a barracks regardless of addons... and scaling up unit production for Zerg is far easier since you don't need multiple tech structures- just more hatcheries you'd build anyway. Not to mention having the cheapest main building (hatcheries are 350 counting the drone versus 400 for a CC or Nexus), enables faster expansions. That slightly higher upfront cost is to balance how absurdly powerful the larva mechanic is for macro. Mules are powerful, but so is being able to make workers 2-4 times as fast as the other player. Asymmetric balance is a thing and the factions are incredibly well balanced against each other. You're just looking at the zerg's weaknesses without stopping to consider their strengths, and concluding they're bad. L2play.
