This is some of the terms for coffee shop menu: 1. Kopi/Teh O = Black coffee/tea with sugar 2. Kopi/Teh O Kosong = Black coffee/tea without sugar 3. Kopi/Teh C = Coffee/tea with evaporated creamer and sugar 4. Kopi\Teh C Kosong = Coffee/tea with evaporated creamer without sugar 5. Kopi/Teh = Coffee/tea with condensed milk

You will never get enough of all the food in Malaysia and in every corner of Malaysia, they have different laksa too....Talking about that you need to try their dissert. Go to KLCC suria underground and you can find the many desserts of Malay style....

@@BingoandBinew Living in Manila... but lived for a month every summertime in HK central before British turned HK over to China and remebering everymorning i would get from the local baker 1/2 pound of white bread some of those Polo Buns and occasional Portuguese egg tarts or what cantonese cal " Tan Tat" literally means Egg tart hehe... oh sometimes congee with meatballs and those elongated deep fried donuts Thais call Pha Thong Go..
Daging means meat (usually red meat) but can be used to say Chicken meat (Daging ayam). South east Asia does not have a cattle culture and most definitely no dairy ( we're all lactose intolerant - small amount of milk in the tarik is ok tho lol). Thus red meat used to be such a rarity (its mostly imported these days). When Islam came it brought about red meat eating culture. Even then its only on festive occasions like weddings or the Eid. Even baked leavened bread was brought by the British. Therefore only the rice meals and noodles i would say are authentic Malaysian dishes. Malaysia is multicultural there are many influences over the current things you see . Rendang is considered very traditional usually served as a dry curry (there are broth versions i never tried) by reducing coconut milk with warm aromatic spices. Malaysian Indian Muslims (called Mamak ) brought most of the other red meat dishes they got them from persia probably why it look similar to Haleem.
