While arranging this piece for @SheetMusicBoss, I felt I wanted to play it on camera. I haven't uploaded anything to this channel for over three years as I've been so busy working on Sheet Music Boss, but wanted to make the time for this.
The sheet music is still being worked on, and it will be made available once the Sheet Music Boss video goes live.
The grand piano is new too, I've only had it for a few weeks. Two weeks after I bought it, the store was flooded out and all the pianos were destroyed. I am so grateful I "saved" this one from destruction. It's such a beautiful instrument and it's absolutely wonderful to have one of this quality to play. It's a Yamaha C7, the same model used in the East West sampled piano I've used for all my Two Steps From Hell videos.

It's been a while, hasn't it? I was moved by Thomas Bergersen's new track "Wings for Ukraine" and while arranging it for Sheet Music Boss, I realised I would like to try recording it on my new grand piano. Please enjoy!
You wouldn't believe it, but two weeks after my piano was delivered, the Australian Piano Warehouse was flooded out and all of their pianos were destroyed. This beautiful instrument was the best one they had, and I feel so grateful that I unknowlingly spared it from destruction.

At first I thought of writing a long comment about how many people are wrong and do not even see the whole situation. But then I realized that it is useless, if you try to understand the situation a little better, you will be very surprised.

@@ДанилаСкримерсов Yes, the news media aren't giving an overall picture. There are lots of things they are avoiding like the conflict that was already in the area before Putin stepped in.
@@pixibelle3282 I'm from Northern Ireland. During The Troubles (what some people consider to have been a period of civil war), the British army was brought in. Some soldiers killed innocent civilians and they worked with the police and UDA (a terrorist organisation) to carry out terrorist attacks. Unfortunately there will always be abuse of power in cases like this and innocents will be killed in an attempt to bring peace. However, how can you justify the mass slaughter of innocent civilians? How does launching missiles into a block of flats help resolve the conflict that Putin tells everyone he is trying to resolve? Sure, the West won't show any news that shows Russia in a good light, but to say that Putin is acting as a peacekeeper is the same as saying Hitler was a peacekeeper for invading Poland. I see no sign of peace. I only see evil and murder.
@@davidbrussard-composer7372 Certainly you are right. I was trying to say the same but with fewer words. I don't know the full story of the conflict, so I'm not really in a position to comment. Killing innocent civilians is awful in all circumstances.
As for Northern Ireland, I'm also sorry the effects the conflict had on the innocents caught up in it. I'm sure the effects are still being felt today. You have my empathy.

i just finished listening to Thomas Bergersen's Wings for Ukraine and now happened across your rendition of it. Well done. Well done indeed. 👍But I'd like to share my words with you if I may that I was moved to write while listening to Bergersen.
Putin is on a Conquest of Paradise, but what this Mad Man doesn't realize is that the inhabitants of Paradise will never let that happen. Putin has brought out the inner warrior of every man, woman and child and they will defend their Paradise to the very end. Ther Heroes of Ukraine will go down in history for their many, many sacrifices. But make no mistake, the legend of the men, women and children, all Heroes of Ukraine, will be remembered for all eternity. They stand alone in this war, yet they stand together as a nation, the likes of which we have not witnessed in a very, long time. Poems, prose and songs will be written expressing how Right conquered Might and that their internal Battle-cry, their mindset if you will, of Where We Go One; We Go All, is what made them succeed so that future generations will enjoy Paradise once again that they rightfully deserve and have earned at such a great cost. Let us all pray for Ukraine for that is all most of us can do and I'm a believer in the power and might of prayer.
WHERE WE GO ONE; WE GO ALL! God Bless, protect and give them strength. 🙏
