Bin Recycling and Manufacturing

Early 2024 we're replacing your kerbside wheelie bins, so we've put together a video to show you what happens to the old bins, and we think its pretty mind blowing! ♻️🧐
🗑️ After your old, green-bodied bins are collected, they will be transported to a plastics recycling facility where they will be shredded and made into new bins for other councils.
🗑️ Our new black bins are made of up to 80% recycled materials from bins from other councils, supporting our commitment to the circular economy.
