Just a reminder. It is also to prevent shorts in case the cable insulations are worn off by the constant rubbing of the cables against each other....
@@arpilmedrano2948 Thank you. Are we discussing about the same label? The label shown at 1:50 is at the top and the + terminal is at the left. I'm referring to the label/brand affixed on the front side of the battery casing. I've never encountered a battery with the + terminal on the right side yet. It may also hold true sa mga reconditioned batteries wherein nabaliktad ang battery casing nang mag-replace ng mga battery plates. Another thing, the + terminal could be on the right side (but not always, as to my Honda City) if the battery placement is on the left side of the engine bay and the starter ( where the + cable originates) is to the right of the battery. Or, maybe it's because I've only used Motolite Gold eversince. I only passed the info given to me as a tip by a batteryman and light/heavy vehicles electrician. Anyway just to be safe, you can also check the tip of the battery terminal. Usually + & - are stamped at the top of the terminals. If not, +& - signs are embossed on the battery casing at the base surrounding the terminals. And there are also red for + & green for - plastic rings fitted on the corresponding terminals on new batteries...The problem is for newbies on how to differentiate + & - cables unless the red protective guard on the + cable is left intact.
Mayroon naman compact battery charger nuon pa man.
But to those who would like it to d.i.y, ok lng nmn po like ginawa namin dito sa video.
Ang importante it is now running well and I'm more than satisfied with the job done. More power to your channel & holiday greetings sa iyo and the rest of carviewph.❤️🎄🎁
