@@Yolk421 For me, it's not flat, there's still some volume at my roots and my hair is still smooth and silky as well. I pre-dry my roots using using the regular hair dryer function it has (lifting my hair upwards to dry my roots from underneath) and then section my hair (basically from crown to top of head is clipped, so it's separate from the rest of the hair). I then dry the unclipped section first with the tool (clamping the tool onto my hair and gliding it). Then, I do the top portions one side at a time the same way. I found I can help keep more volume in my hair if I aim the tool upwards on those tops pieces instead of aiming the tool down. I also use the cool setting afterwards to help set it, but not always. Hope this helps! ♥
@jessicahellmer can you please guide me ? I have never gone through any hair treatment, i was planning to go for kera-smoothening but ppl around me who have done that are facing issues like hairfall, so i have always been afraid from all these as i am facing hairfall, whenever I heat style my hair , i get hairfall.. so can u please tell me if i buy dyson air straight, will i face any hairfall ? (as the brand claims zero heat damage) And can u suggest any hair treatment to me for straightening up hair without damage , also which hair products like shampoo, conditioner, heat protectant, hair mask, serum are you using?
I have the airwrap and use it in Rohtak, Haryana. As long you can use an AC while styling so you don't sweat too much in summers, the hairstyle lasts as long as you don't wet your hair. Airwrap does have a learning curve, though, so learn the right techniques from the youtube channel of Alanna Noelle. She also has courses. Her techniques have changed the whole situation for me among so many others. Must use heat protectant, the tony n guy heat protect spray was necessary to keep my hair stay straightened, don't know why it helped
I am from Mumbai & the weather is v. humid here. My hair is frizzy & semi wavy now (was straight before). I prefer the straight hair (not poker straight) & also the natural blow dried look. Do you think the dyson airwrap will help in achieving the look & most importantly how long does it hold the style for? Do you use any hair products apart from heat protectant with dyson & how often do you use the airwrap? Any take on Airstrait vs airwrap? Also do you think Alanna’s paid course is worth taking up since she has lot of free airwrap tutorials. I know these are a lot of questions but very important for me before I make the final plunge. Thanks in advance 😊
@@j.s.188 I've had dyson since last October and I live in a hostel in the plain region of Jammu city, Jammu and Kashmir. I also used dyson when I went home in June in Rohtak for a month and in Goa as well. Airwrap worked well I was able to keep my styled hair for the whole week in winters and dry summers. If I needed that extra volume then I would need to flip my styled head and comb once or twice and then not tie or flatten my hair and it would stay looking voluminous. In case that wouldn't last long enough then just some hot air or hot brush through the flipped head. The curls might not last but honestly I don't care for casual days and I'm sure a few tricks will help with that as well. Like, use a texture spray and keep the hair on the curling wand for longer then switch off dyson then remove hair not the other way around, cover the hair surface properly, use smaller sections, make tighter or smaller curls than you actually need, don't comb through or open or touch those curls till they cool down completely, etc. I didn't curl my hair coz I liked the blow dried straight look and since my hair has the tendency to curl, the straight hair would start to curl up into one or two huge bouncy smooth styled looking curl by day 3. You can also create that kind of style instantly with any of the brush attachments. So I didn't use the curlers this year so can't share that experience. You only really need Alanna Noelle's free content, I never bought her paid content. Then comes the humid summer, the style wouldn't stay at all but I didn't try it enough to know what went wrong as I don't have an AC here. If you can get a decent anti-humidity spray then you can use the airwrap no matter where you are. I used to use it after every single wash except in these last few extremely hot and humid months because no AC. My hair stayed smooth the first two weeks after I stopped using dyson in summers coz I had been straightening regularly for atleast 5 months now. Please don't hesitate to use one or two quality (not luxury) products when using dyson. It helps ALOT. I also used to oil my hair with every week since I started using Dyson just so my hair don't get damaged due to dryness, this helped me keep awesome hair. When you use the right techniques and be patient, you won't have hairfall while straightening. Unlike a straightener where you'll lose half your volume. With experience you'll become quick and it won't take more than 20 mins tops and I am a slow person so. I use pure organic hair oils from blenditraw and they never disappoint. Also, I use hair mask as well for the same reason. Would sometimes use both and alternate between them at other times. Airwrap simply didn't hurt my hair at all with regular use. I kept nourishing it to avoid damage from dryness due to heat. Heat protection is must and my roommate approves of my English boyfriend as well 🤭 Wanted to buy the airstrait to try in the humidity but can't say much without trying. Unless you have long hair I don't think you can get any kind of curl with airstrait. The airstrait straightened could possibly be more resistant to humidity though similar to a straightener. You can go wet to dry. Personally, I won't prefer it over the airwrap though.
Hey I really need help with my Dyson AirWrap!!! Please can you make a full video on it, like how to use each attachment effectively for the beginners!! For a saloon like blow out, beachy hair look etc etc
Volume matters alot ...so i think airwrap does the job well Sleek straight hair for ones who dont have enough wont look good so airwrap will give the volume

Tarini please make a video on like teenagers have very sensitive skin but cant use any chemical peels or exfoliant recommend some products and they are dealing with hyperpigmentation, dark spots and acne marks and dull skin people dont have too much budget to spend on skincare.
Mam can you please make a video on pregnancy safe skin and hair care??? Also what kind of oils can be used on hair during pregnancy? I am 5 months pregnant and have severe hair fall. So can you please suggest some hair oils?? ❤❤
Hy i am watching your videos since last 2 years and i love them i have combinational skin type so please share skin care routine focused on combination skin type cause you have said earlier in your previous video that you have combination skin type Please please it's a huge request
Depends on how much straightening you need and how thick your hair is. With the corale you can use the dryer before if needed with a round brush. If you need more straightening or have more hair the airstrait will be best. If you like more curl the the corale. You can use the airstrait and then touch up with a cheaper curling wand.
What’s the difference between the air straight and the revair suction different brand but same concept. I have the revair I’ve always wanted to try the Dyson air straight after it but idk if it’s worth it 😮completely blow dried silk press!
Hello Tarini I have been following you since quite a long time now and I request a favour from you it’s regarding my Dyson airwrap. I mean everyone is talking about how it works and everything but no one talking about after purchase problems. Let me be more specific, so it’s been three years since I have bought the airwrap and this is the second time I am facing the same problem of machine overheating and literally burning my hands and also at an extent I feel my hair too. What is the whole point of purchasing a machine this costly when the company doesn’t even provide the repair or replacement for free after according to them out of warranty . What I am trying to say is when first time I faced the issue it was resolved by the company since it was under warranty and now they ask me to pay a repair charge of 1990-7000 depending on the problem it seems. Afcourse I am not willing to pay now after paying much for the machine itself. Also I am writing this to you and here since everyone out there should know the after scams . Also writing this here since I feel you are the genuine person with genuine reviews and also if you reach out to the company about the same on behalf of many more consumers like me.
Do they damage hairs? I have pretty damaged hairs with extreme hair fall but I really need this for styling which one is less damaging? Air straight does it have some technology which dries out your hairs without heat? Same goes with air wrap??
