KORG gadget’s piano roll is interesting due to how it lets the user set a scale for the roll. It’s a super nice way of doing it. Sure it’s not helpful when working with weird scales or incorporating different scales into the same roll. This is hard to perfect apparently as I haven’t found a “perfect” system in over 30 years of computer music making. Both users and devs are struggling.
Indeed! Fl studio (desktop) seems to have cracked the code with a balance of tools and shortcuts etc and on iOS atom 2 is nearly flawless for touch, but it has no keyboard shortcuts (being an auv3) but then NanoStudio 2 has those gorgeous handle bars but no scales, and no keyboard shortcuts. Meanwhile MTS has an insane amount of keyboard shortcuts + handle bars. Lol 😂 it really is funny how there’s no universally accepted solution to this that everyone adopts. I really like Xequence 2’s piano roll too…but it isn’t a auv3 host! iOS has no shortage of dev self expression in the piano roll department!
Audio Evolution Mobile just added Ghost Tracks. But you probably don’t use AEM anymore now that Logic is here, so it probably doesn’t matter to you. It’s like you found a better girl that does everything better than your ex

Antares has no Cubasis plug-ins, the pitch correction is Waves. I don’t know if waves will release their plugins for iOS but it would be nice. The best auv3 pitch correction like AutoTune on iOS for me is vocal tune pro

😂 Its messy and kinda sweet at the same time. Yeah I love when rolls incorporate handlebars on iOS due to how it melds nicely with touch.

Atom not showing up in LP for iPad is the developer's responsibility, not Apple's.
