I’ve been raising chicks and chickens for the past two years almost. I think the hardest part about raising poultry is accepting that you’re going to lose a lot. Great video as always guys. I'd like to make a suggestion for your incubator. The plastic material used in the baskets in your incubator is extremely slippery for newborn birds, you can see in the video they can't get any grip to stand. When you stop rotating the eggs, place some sort of an anti slip mat (rubber placemats work wonderful) under the eggs in the incubator when they start to pip. This will prevent splayed leg, and enable the chicks to be mobile faster so they are able to move around better to feed and water themselves, so they don't get so weak. I always place the heat source directly above my chicks so they don't have a choice to go without heat for the first few days. After that you can move the heat source to one side or the other enabling them to move in and out of the heat if they so desire. Good luck guys!
